Arizona's Paul Goldschmidt and David Peralta homered and right-hander Zack Greinke pitched into the seventh inning as the Diamondbacks stopped the visiting Miami Marlins 6-2 at Chase Field on Saturday.

Goldschmidt hit a solo homer in the first inning for an early lead, and Peralta's two-run homer in the third gave Greinke (4-4) a 5-0 cushion as the Diamondbacks won for the fourth time in five games to reclaim first place in the National League West.

Lewis Brinson hit a pinch-hit homer in the ninth inning, rookie Brian Anderson had two hits including an RBI triple and Starlin Castro had two doubles for the Marlins, who have lost five in a row and eight of nine.

The Diamondbacks have eight homers in the last two games after tying a franchise record with six in a 9-1 victory Friday. They had nine homers in a stretch in which they lost 15 of 17, a run that ended Monday.

Greinke gave up seven hits and one run in 6 2/3 innings, leaving after giving up a single and a walk with two outs in the seventh. He had six strikeouts and one walk while winning for the first time in five starts.

Miami left-hander Caleb Smith (4-6) gave up five hits and five runs in four innings, with five strikeouts and two walks. He had given up one earned run in each of his last two starts, both victories.

Goldschmidt hit his eighth homer with two outs in the first inning on a night in which a "Paul Solo" bobblehead in his likeness was distributed in a Star Wars promotion.

Chris Owings beat out a bunt and Ketel Marte had an RBI triple before Jeff Mathis' one-out sacrifice fly made it 3-0 in the second. Marte had homers in his last two at-bats Friday, giving him 11 total bases in three consecutive plate appearances.

Peralta hit his ninth homer, his second in two games, after Goldschmidt was hit by a pitch with two outs in the third inning for a 5-0 lead. Deven Marrero walked with the bases loaded in fifth to make it 6-0.

Castro doubled to lead off the sixth inning and scored on Anderson's two-out triple to break Greinke's shutout. Anderson leads major league rookies with 62 hits.
