Adams delivers in 11th as Braves top Marlins

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves did it to Miami again, walking off for the fifth time against the Marlins this season.
Lane Adams hit a two-run homer off Vance Worley in the 11th inning to give the Braves a dramatic 10-8 victory over the beleaguered Marlins on Sunday.
It was the second walk-off victory time in the four-game series and the ninth of the season against the Braves, with almost half of them coming against Miami.
The Marlins, who led by three runs going to the bottom of the ninth, have won just two of their past 14 games.
Tyler Flowers singled with one out in the 11th and then Adams hit the first pitch he saw from Worley (2-5) over the fence in left-center field for his third homer of the year.
Arodys Vizcaino (5-3) worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the 11th and got credit for the victory when Adams came through.
Dee Gordon extended his hitting streak to a career-best 14 games for the Marlins with his first career pinch-hit homer to break a 5-5 tie in the eighth inning, connecting against Jose Ramirez.
The Marlins added two nine-inning runs, but the Braves forced extra innings by scoring three times in the bottom of the ninth.
Rio Ruiz tied it with a two-run single after Johan Camargo drove in the first run with a single, both hits coming off Javy Guerra after Jarlin Garcia allowed two hits and a walk to start the inning.
J.T Realmuto had four hits and Christian Yelich three for the Marlins, with both players driving in two runs.
The Marlins scored three times in the second inning and twice in the fifth off Braves starter R.A. Dickey after Atlanta had scored five times in the third while sending 10 men to the plate.
Realmuto had a two-run double in the second, which began with three straight walks, and scored after getting the first of three consecutive singles by the Marlins in the fifth.
Dickey gave up six hits over five innings in his second straight rough outing. He allowed six runs in 4 1/3 innings against Texas in his previous outing and his ERA is up to 4.28.
Marlins starter Odrisamer Despaigne walked six in 3 2/3 innings, with half of the free passes coming in a five-run third by the Braves (63-79) that also included four hits. Tyler Flowers and Johan Camargo both had two-run singles.
Stanton kept the game tied in the seventh, crashing into the right field wall to deprive Camargo of extra bases and an RBI, and made a running catch at the warning track of a drive by Ozzie Albies in the 10th.
