Denis has been practicing grass for a very long time, and he understands how to play on this surface. I'll take Denis's win.

Wimbledon tournament starts. I don't like to play the opening days. So many matches and it's hard to choose anything worth playing. But this is a sure bet. Aggressive Kalinskaya vs. Clay Osorio. Only counting her mistakes and she can lose to the Russian herself. If she shows her game she'll have no problem to close in two sets with a much bigger handicap. This coverage is much more suitable for her than the Colombian.

I take here the victory of Kvitova with a handicap -1.5 on sets, I think that she should easily beat this opponent.
Stevens played her last match on grass in 2019, and the American has dropped a lot, very much so that she dropped to #73 in the rankings.
Kvitova always plays on grass, she lifted the Wimbledon title, and she is in good shape at the tournament in Hamburg, where she lost to Kerber 2-1.
I think the Czech will easily beat Stevens today and close the match 2-0.

The match between Anderson and Barrios Ver. In this match I want to take a chance and bet on the underdog. I estimate the odds of a win here as 60 to 40, and the keff seems very overstated to me. The logic here is simple, Barrios has won the last three meetings on grass, while Anderson has lost the last three meetings, poor movement in the last matches, no time to keep up with the shenanigans. Only serve is on Anderson's side here, but it may not go either.

He has no experience on grass, but Cuevas is not a grass player either. I liked the Serb in his game against Di Minaur, he lost because of the lack of experience on this surface, and Alex gained great form on the green surface, so the defeat is not critical. Laszlo is a fighter, he fights till the end in the TBS, Pablo, even if he was a great player before Wim, but this is a ground and tournaments on the Challenger level. In terms of physics Laszlo is stronger now, and better in terms of serve, good back line play, not many mistakes, and tops Pablo Cuevas has a good opportunity to clog the winnings, and the faceoffs in favor of Dier (1-0 on the ground)

I watched all of Elena's Eastbourne matches and liked her play against Svitolina, I think she will win this match, but there is one factor, the final in Eastbourne, against Ostapenka, where Lena fought back in the first set, but after a medical timeout gave up the second set very easily, and that raises the question, whether she recovered for Wimbledon, it was only a couple of days. Mladenovic, in spite of having slowed down in recent years, can put up a fight, and if Rybakina is not all right, it's a chance to pass.

I'll take Karolina Pliskova (13) 2-0. I will say right away that Karolina is obviously not in the best shape, she has three losses in a row, on grass she has already lost to Pegula and Georgie. Pliskova is having an unimportant, but not a down season. On 15/12 she had a Grand Prix final in Rome on clay. Zidanšek (47) has been stagnating in the second half of the top 100 for a long time without much progression, but this year she shot on the ground: first a final in Bogota and then 1/2 of the WG. Very decent. However, Zidansek is a grass tennis player, her results are worse on fast surfaces. She hasn't played on grass at all this year, and has played very few matches during her career (4/4 stats, compare with a great 55/27 for Pliszkova). Zidansek does not have a strong serve. It is far from certain that she will continue to show the same results as on RG, and on grass. The Slovenian is out of practice on grass, she's a primer, she hasn't played anywhere since WG, so it's not certain she'll be in the same shape. Pliskova, even though she's in suboptimal condition, I think she has a very real chance to easily beat Zidansek. I take 2-0, I recommend taking for anything above or at least close to 1.8. You can also take -4 on games, again, for about 1.8 or higher.
