UCL: just one, there will be better value 2n legs. those familiar with thy threads know ive mentioned this many times the past few years. tho it isnt the 2nd leg, Peps MO on road in the CL: either score or be scored upon. regardless if its a meaningless Group Stage or a KO 2nd legger, seen a goal in first half hour in 15 of the past 19 Citys CL roadies the last few years before things settle down. though the stat is much better in 2nd legs when I look across the pitch at what the opponent is this time, not to mention the matchups, this is going to be an interesting chess match ... worth a shot: goal in first 27 minutes? Yes @-109
Copa Lib: Round 2, all the behemoths at home. 11 of 16 open with 200+ juice? should hit a few of the -HC's but tho the earlier red in 'B' red didnt affect anything, it now makes it 11 straight days a red somewhere for me (several nights multiple) going the goals route here for most of them.
Flamengo(Bra)/LaCalera(Chi) over 1.5 both halves @+212 -
Quito(Ecu)/Velez(Arg) - this is one of those 'altitude' games, but kind of like the prices on this. Gaucho squad just had a roadie on Sunday domestically (tho several rested) and coming off a huge pt last week. but Gaucho squads just simply havent fared well thru the years in thin air. Quito are 'regulars' in this thing and have beaten some pretty big clubs at home: River, Paulo; and were knocked out by the finalists Santos during KO's last year due to away goal rule. 'push' at worst here. Quito -1 @+115, taking a shot at the O2.5 @-104 & 2nd half over 1.5 @+114
Inter(Bra)/Tachira(Ven) - Samba side just got hammered & cleansheeted last week up in the Bolivian mtns so looking for a nice turnaround here. Venezuelans just not good travellers . O2.5 @-124, 3.5 @+181
Boca(Arg)/Santos(Bra) - didnt Santos just knock them out of the semis back in January? im no fan of the 'revenge' angle but that/it makes this a 'no-brainer'; not meaning its an easy win, just means its easier to cap. Samba squad have played a ton of games this month already and have won just once. apparently, this isnt the same squad as last year as a few have left. so take a shot with a revenge minded Boca -1 @-113

yoro hope all is well. yeah, the two clubs whom are about to get hammered and feel the wrath of UEFA are playing another. one of them will be in the final. so here you are going to have UEFA promoting a final to gain viewers while at same time sending an axe to their heads. can help but laugh at how everything unfolded last week.

I would be disappointed in myself if I didn't follow the trend here of Man City finding a way to exit this competition when it seems perfectly set up for them. You could probably argue that this really is the year for City to win old big ears having eluded Pep for so long.
While not having the best of records against Pep historically, Poch has managed to cause City/Pep some problems over the years and rarely has their matchups been walkovers, despite Poch always having an inferior side or in the case of Espanyol vs. Barcelona far and away inferior. In their only UCL meeting Poch prevailed - though it was in controversial fashion. It's also worth noting that Man City have had their problems facing French sides in the UCL in recent years, namely Lyon who knocked them out at this same stage last year and also caused them all sorts of problems a few seasons back in the group stage.
I think you could also argue that PSG have the slight advantage in freshness as they cruised to a pretty comfortable away win at Metz while City's game with Tottenham was an extremely tight and intensive game that luckily for them was decided just before the prospect of extra time / penalties.
So, I'll be taking PSG to win the 1st leg along with a small stake on the correct score of 1-0, however not a bet of any real size as it does feel like the stars have aligned for City if they can overcome their squad's mental frailties. One last thing to note which should hardly be surprising to anyone, but the market is siding with City at a rate just over 2 to 1.

well, that set things 'striaght & proper' for rest of week.
alfa, In been in 'grind' mode for a bit of time, so ill take that. a wee-bit unexpected tho doc will get back to you on that. as you can imagine, had fairly long discussion when news broke out. ehhh. Ganda as always. hope all is well with self and fam over there. Shak appreciate the kind words. but you know in some cultures, goat's heads get served on platters. never forget that too matt, nicely presented. figured Id chime in ya know, i really didnt bother with these 1st legs. even that prop I took kinda seems dicey. I have NO IDEA how Pep will start this one. for one thing, right out of the gate... i cannot see Walker making those runs into the offensive end. not with Mbappe out there. dont they line up on same side? but if one is going to start with a strategy to contain City - Captain Obvious comment here, the team is stacked - but at the top of that pile of "problems" the very frist one has got to start with Kevin. ya cant afford Kevin to 'receive and turn (shoulders)'. got to knock him around. as we like to say it "get his shorts dirty". but with Citys roster, that creates about 4 more problems so ya got to pick ur poison. but I COMPLETELY forgot about Poch. thumbs up for bringing that up, think he doesnt know a thing or two about how to approach City? and he ascutally has the type of team whom can give them fits. but one thing i have to disagree with you on is that final score. through the years, through all these changes in the sport and all the cr*p thats gone on; the one thing that has remained constant, and which is STILL GOLDEN... is getting an away goal in the 1st leg at any stage. and City, ever since Kevin arrived, are a jaw dropping 24-6 in finding the back of net in all their UCL roadies. theyve actually done this 18 of their past 21 roadies, aside from that meaningless clunker in Porto, the only clubs whom held them scoreless were their own countrymen (Pool/Tott). oddly enough, Poch coached that squad. but that stat goes right along with Peps MO and im not all too thrilled to go against it. on the other side of that argument, people still arent giving PSG any credit (myself included) but they have conceded the fewest goals in this thing for 2 years now - and theyve played the most games) the btts is a too juiced for my liking. so ill just stick with that play and enjoy the match. thanks for the input

Pending: PSG/ManC: goal in first 27 minutes? Yes @-109
Copa Lib: juice making this round un-playable. some ot the 2.5 Team Totals are juiced
Justicia(Arg)/Deportes(Per) - just think this is too big of a mismatch. trying to find something here but everything too juiced. Justicia to score in both halves @-109, Justicia TT O2.5 @+116
Olimpia(Par)/Always(Bol) - beating that Samba club last week probably gave the Bolivians a lot of confidence heading into this one; tho altitude playe part. but Paraguayan sides are my fav to back @home, theyre just tough nuts and its always been wise to fade Bolivians wen they come down from the mountain. err on side of caution tho and just taking the btts + over 2.5 @-109.
Barcelona(Ecu)/Strongest(Bol) - taking a chance here, watched the Bolivian match last week, they might have only lost 0-1 to Boca but couldnt even string 3 straight passes together. and Gaucho squad missed a ton of chances. perhaps just a bad night? but Ecuadorian champs went on the road an manhandled last years finalist and now at home. im thinking this could get ugly. Barcelona -1.5 @-120, over 3.5 @+145
parlay the Bolivian matches: O2.5 @+150 for fun.
Copa Sud: Paran(Bra)/Metro(Ven) - Samba squad playing their THIRD in 6 days; Ven have had the week off. ehhh. but a mid-table Samba squad vs a mid table Ven squad? taking a shot at the O3.5 @+130

that makes 14 straight in Lib
Ganda every once in a while you get a match where when the final whistle blows you sit there wondering just whome actually played better. you can grab 10 people and it would probably be split 5-5 right down the middle. PSG had City on their backheels the 1st half. City took over the middle of the park in the 2nd. congrats to City but everything is 'backwards' for the 2nd leg, got more questions than answers.
WCI not only is it Europa, looks whoms playing? thats like a double-dose of pain for me. wasnt planning to play it but got arm twisted so ill getthat up in a bit.
yoro more than any region, Conmebol provides some of the biggest home advantages. even the travel out there, bloody LONG trips just for domestic matches. im not really knowledgeable on the teams/players as much as alfha is but theres certain situations which just continue to be profitable thru the decades.
