I've always found it impossible to get decent salt water fish out here, we're farther from TO than you, it's all previously frozen shit, or you gotta get lucky the one day the truck with the fresh stuff comes....

Gonna get my fill when I'm over in the old country.

haven't been to the seafood markets in the South Bay , Redondo Beach etc , in a while , guess its safe to assume prices are now insane , but you cant beat the quality , live crabs oysters lobster shrimp

 In TO they would fly the salt water fish in fresh from Azores to a couple of great Portuguese restaurants. In the Burbs where I'm at its frozen only.
