 Same here, no way am I getting locked into that ecosystem.  I took the final step today, got all my kids Samsung Tabs to break the iPad habit.  I am completely Apple free now, yeah me!

Because of this BS pandemic I decided no food chains for my family an_shake

Supporting only local small business. If it has more than a dozen locations they are doing fine.

 I am dating Amazon, but haven't proposed yet.  I have a wandering eye that seeks the best deal.  I like the convenience Amazon offers and she does give a good reach around but sometimes we just want normal.  I do support local as best I can but within reason; sometimes local is not the best.  But I hear you, we are all slaves to someone/something, I just refused to get stuck sucking off Steve Jobs and company.  I do own the stock but it is not me helping prop it up...

we go to a locally (Armenian) market , they got 4 stores in town , family owned

those tend to be a bit hard to find unless you are in the city. We have a German place a few Asian places a Polish store, Portuguese and Indian that I frequent. All the Italian places were bought out by the bigger grocers but still provide decent selection
