I think that was the best 0-0 game I have seen in a long timeDisappointing way to lose but a great effort and worthy of respect. At the end of the day you can't score 1 goal in 4 games and expect to make it to the semi-finals, but to shut out Argentina and Brazil is pretty impressive, so things are hopeful heading into world cup qualifying. Proud to be a Colombia fan

With all due respect Zamigo, I thought Colombia were abismal tonight. If it wasn't for the incredible saves by Ospina they would have lost by a hefty margin. They couldn't even string a few passes together in the middle. Totally dominated. Even with lady luck on their side all night they couldn't capitalise in the end. A disappointing tournament from Colombia who are/were ranked 4th in the world.

Zamigo, Sad to see Colombia lose in the fashion that they did. Great Keeping, but more so, they fought like David against Goliath. To expect anything more, is just blind faith.

Colombia were completely outmatched...the whole center midfield was missing. Carlos Sanchez has been the best on the field. Bacca was missing. They tactically decided to play a deep defensive game and weather the storm. They made the game hideous and played with a lot of heart. Of course they could have allowed goals if it were not for Ospina. If you have ever played the game then you know sometimes you are outmatched and need to hang on. They played a team with the top talent in the world while undermanned and turned it into a coinflip with penalties. I can admire the effort for sure, with no delusions about Colombia having played great soccer on the day. Of course the tournament was disappointing they scored 1 goal in 4 games, but when they played Brazil and Argentina they rose to the occasion given the pieces that they have on hand, I can respect that completely. No team and no player is perfect, but for me when I watch my team I am really only hoping for 2 things, and that is that they give a good effort and that the ref doesn't blow the game, I got both last night so I can walk away happy...

You're a more sentimental man than me Zamiga Peru and Paraguay have advanced against most expectations, now they are teams with heart. Colombia had 1 good display out of 4 games. And as we know the only reason they advanced is because a ridiculous 8 teams go through to the finals. They have lost that zip which made them the darlings of the World cup. The only bright spot from the tourney is Carlos Sanchez, but he has always been on the money. Perhaps Ibarbo too, Valencia was excellent until being injured. Cuadrado poor. James poor, Falcao can't find a description, even Jackson in his sole starting game looked sluggish, yet still way more promising than Falcao. As I started out, you are a much more sentimental man than me regarding Colombia's showing in Chile particularly their ultimate display in which in all my time watching football I have never seen a team so utterly dominated yet ONLY due to their keepers gloves and feet did they come away unscathed after 90 mins. It was DEFINITELY NOT by good defending or 'heart' as you put it. I said before the tourney began if they rely on Falcao this tournament they will lose and for the most part they did rely on the Shakira of Cololmbian football, so much so he was Captain for at least 2 games. Good luck the rest of the tourney Zamigo and see you for the eliminatorias.

You keep bringing up how bad Colombia were as if I am in some disagreement about how they performed overall this tournament. They most certainly deserved to be eliminated, I definitely was not impressed. Not sure if you are trying to rub salt in a wound or what exactly your intentions are. I've agreed with nearly everything you have said. To me they played a team FAR better than them and lost in penalties. To you they played a team FAR better than them and were lucky to get to penalties. I'm not going to stop being a Colombia fan. I'm not sure what the disagreement is here, so either clarify or let's move on to the semis.

Chile v. Peru- BTTS: YES @ +120 (0.50 to win 0.60)
It's a semifinal match, and my natural inclination is usually towards the UNDER in a spot like this, but perhaps today will be different. Chile have defended well in recent games, but they haven't faced much firepower in Uruguay or in Bolivia. Peru are hardly an attacking powerhouse, but they are playing well and clicking, and play a dangerous role here as underdogs against the home side. As we saw against Brazil, a team that has creative attacking talent (like Chile) will be able to find holes in the Peru backline and should be able to score. Ultimately, I think if Peru were to bunker in and try to make it 90 minutes holding Chile scoreless it wouldn't be a wise approach. Having watched game film of this Chilean team, I think they will see how Chile's backline looked quite vulnerable against Ecuador and conceded 3 goals to an almost non-existent Mexican attack. No disrespect to Chile, they are a very good team, and have excellent attacking talent, but I think their weakness is at the back, and it will only be exposed by a team willing to go at them. My hope and expectation is that Peru will do that tonight, and we will see goals in this affair.

Argentina v. Paraguay: UNDER 2.5 @ -107 (0.54 to win 0.50)
Going small to start, but I like the UNDER here. The first match saw 4 goals, but I would think that was a bit unique of a match. While Paraguay were effective in the second half, I think they would be wise to do a better job defensively in the first half this time around. Argentina found out the hard way that Paraguay can punish you if they aren't careful, and they haven't exactly been dumping goals in on the offensive end either. I don't expect Argentina to play overly cautious, but I think Paraguay will make it tough for them going forwards. Most of all, if Argentina get ahead, I think they will be MUCH more safe at the back after blowing a 2 goal lead in the first meeting. If Paraguay manage to get ahead I think we can expect the same from them. So to me this could be the type of game where we have a goal in the first half and the 2nd half doesn't amount to much. I think staying under the number has a good chance here.
