J-Cap I suggest you cover your eyes my friend... Habs blueline is looking very much like my hairline..Thinning..The Camel is still out and their injury list is growing..Now they face a Philly side fresh off b2b wins against the Devils..One could think soft spot, however the Flyers remember only too well that they have only won 1 of their last 5 meetings with the Habs so revenge will be fresh on their minds.. Emery being out is no longer of a concern as Leighton has performed more than adequately and I see a home ice thumping on the horizon.... FLYERS-1.5 +170

LOL.....I agree, heck I thought they would get destroyed by the Caps the other night....HOWEVER, they always play well against PHI (esp on the road) and I think they need this game a little bit more than PHI does and will head into the Olympic break on a streak.....MONTREAL 3-2. Go Habs Go!

So if you think are going to head into the Olympic break streaking then you are obviously predicting a weekend sweep of the Flyers by Montreal? The two teams meet again Saturday night in Montreal for the return match....Predicting a sweep in a back to back night deal against a more skilled hockey team is pretty bold even for your surging Habs...Goodluck with that!.............5-3 Flyers

Montreal has recntly made Philadelphia their home-away-from home (as I noted in my 1st post) -- they've won six in a row at the Wachovia Center and are 8-0-1 in their last nine visits.

I like the score mentioned above, a 3-2 Montreal win.Montreal is looking to make a run, and Philly always falters after showing a couple games of promise.

Philly is hardly a more talented team. Both teams are vying for one of the last playoff spots in the East, and while the Flyers have three games in hand, and trail the Habs by all of one point - the Flyers aren't deeper or more talented than the Habs. Both teams are mediocre this year. I'll stick with a team that has owned Philly IN Philly. These teams will probably split the b2b games, with Montreal winning tonight.

Montreal is playing with a roster littered with Hamilton Bulldogs at the moment and you are comparing the roster to that of Phillys talent wise...Your kidding right? And healthy they are not near as talented either....This can be better settled when we see where either team is come the spring time not right now. How the standings sit today means zero to the hockey talent on the two hockey teams. Montreal does have the better goaltendind. It ends right there but they are paying with tons of passion and team chemistry and that conquers talent everytime.....If Philly brings their A game they will roll up Montreal but if they do not and play unemotional hockey as they tend to do when the Habs come to town then Montreal will win. Obviously I am banking on them playing hard tonight....If you think man for man these two teams talent pools are even. Start watching more hockey and STOP gambling immediately....

Just so everyone is aware in case it was given no thought...The back to back means you see Carey price in the net tonight for Montreal and Mr. Halak tomorrow in the return match...This has already been confirmed, just keeping you all up to speed....

Your info is very bad..Not bashing well a little actually cause bad info is not cool to spread to other gamblers but more trying to help. The last 4 meeting in the Wachovia between these two go like this....
02/27/09 Montreal 4 Philly 3 (OT)
10/13/08 Montreal 5 Philly 3
04/30/08 Montreal 2 Philly 4
04/28/08 Montreal 2 Philly 3
Philly is 2-1-1 and the over is 3-1 against Montreal the last 4 games inside the Wachovia Center. Bad info is a very bad thing for gamblers. Find whoever gave you that crap or printed it and chop one of their fingers off and tell them you will be back for more if you see that shit again cause causing people to lose money with bad info is not a cool thing in my book..In fact it is pretty sketch. Plus they made you look foolish.

"If that's not reason enough to be confident, the Canadiens have won six straight regular-season games at the Wachovia Center, and have earned points in their last nine such contests there (8-0-1)."

Oh by the way, here sthe direct link, just copy and paste into your browser....To even hint that I was making this up without getting the info from somewhere at least somewhat credible (I do think ESPN.com is credible) makes you look foolish to the rest of the readers Im sure.....

By the way though those 2 scores you see from April of 2008 are Philly victories so that math does not add up..I was trying to be kind and yes ESPN is a piece of crap but being Canadian we all think of it as such. DO NOT read American articles regarding hockey...No offense....What they should have clarified for you is that those are regular season stats only and that is fair as this is the regular season but they are NOT 8-0-1 their last 9 visits there. See those two wins in The Wachovia were from the playoffs when Philly dumped the Habs in 5 games beating them twice in Montreal and in the only two games played in Philly. I guess ESPN chose not to count those and as I say fair as it was the playoffs and it counted then which reinforces the fact that IF Philly shows up and really wants the game they will win it like they did in those two contests that mattered to them.
I have a daily thread in the forum in which I post and play all my picks and show all my coin and I don't think anyone that knows me here would consider me a fool. Your ESPN stat was incorrect but as I say I will deem it fair as it counted only regular season games but the the last 4 games the two teams played in the Wachovia the Flyers are 2-1-1 and the over is 3-1 and that is just a fact.....Why would stating something that really occured make me look foolish? I was gonna be nice and not waste my time but thought maybe you should see it for what it is...Maybe Montreal kills them tonight and if so then Philly will be 2-2-1 in its last 5 In the Wachovia against the Habs. Again fair that they only counted regular season but I was not I was counting a game as a game and my info came from Covers itself and from watching Philly kick their ass in those two games in Philly not even 2 full years ago so we will call it a misunderstanding....Enjoy the game
