Lakers are going down today... as a laker lover, they are gonna get torched by Brooks and Ariza's playing at a high level right now.
Should be a good game anyway.... But i'll bet against my team today. HOUSTON ML
u aint no real fan bettin against yo own team...even if u decided to leave da game alone, you cant bet against your own squad...its rare we give up so little points i gotta take it

I'm a fan, but this same squad beat the Lakers by double digits in the playoffs last year. We don't got Pau, and say what you wanna say -- but they are not the same without him...
There's a fine line between being a fan, and being a realist of where you place your money.
It's gambling and the Lakers have failed everyone ATS this season so far. I called that game yesterday that they wouldnt cover the spread (don't worry Laker Lovers, I didn't bet on OKC.)
Houston isn't as bad as they seem, and Lakers are in a position to Lose right now. Either way, a win = a win as a fan, a Loss = a win in my wallet.
Don't wanna cause bad blood between my fellow laker fans, Its a thread, so I'm just speaking my mind. Best of Luck to you guys. I don't mind losing a bet here if the Lakers win.

slingerg420 - "You don't bet with your heart anyway amateurs"
My point exactly. its one thing to root for a team, but its another to figure out how to make money. I love this Laker team, but they have let me down wayyy too many times in the past as far as gambling. If i got money to throw around, i'll bet with my brain, not with my heart.

I can feel what you're saying, because I've bet against my beloved SF 49ers several times over the past few years (before the Singletary era). You know YOU'RE team better than anybody as a die hard fan. Money is money.........and we're all trying to win. The 49ers have never cut me a paycheck......and the Lakers have never cut you a paycheck.
Now, I am a Laker fan.......and the reverse happens time and time again. I've made a small wager on the Lakers EVERY game this regular season. And i've lost EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can not believe Derek Fisher held the ball for 24 seconds at the end of the Atlanta game and fired up a 3 pointer that we all knew had no chance as soon as it left his hand. MO FO. I still love his game and what he brings to our squad though.
They can't keep losing ATS though....not forever anyway. This is the least amount of points they've had to give thus far. 2 points.......basically you're asking yourself "can they win the game". LAL has a very realistic chance to win every game they play regardless of where it is. You don't think they want to stick it to Ariza? His dumbass should've never left. He won't sniff another championship.......and we probably made out better because of it by signing Artest (under the assumption that he's through making music and acting like a tool....only time will tell).
DAMMIT LAKERS.........COVER THE FREAKIN SPREAD ALREADY AND STOP MILKING ME DRY!
Lakers - 2 (i'm gonna bet half of the money they've lost me over the previous 4)

A hopeless believer... That is how the books are rich and those stacks in your hand aren't real. Houston should win this, and to be on the safe side I think I'll stay away from a 70% publically favored lakers on the road.. Good luck
