The past couple of weeks have all been the Celtics setting up their big comeback win vs. Cleveland on Friday night. Everyone is talking about what's wrong with the C's, and why they're 2-5 in the last 7 and all that other crap.

should be a pretty tight game...cant wait to watch it...i would have to take cleveland if i played it but with so many others on the board think i may just sit back and enjoy it...hell i might have to take the cavs at the half....they have done me well this season...

greatest handicapping philosophy of all time: fade such and such a team until the prove otherwise... takes a real genius to jump on a bandwagon that's already in full motion right before the bandwagon is about to crash...
maybe try something new... handicap the game...
to the buffoon who predicted an 11 point Cavs win... answer me this: how many times have the Cavs lost by 11 or more points this year? 37 games played... and you are calling for something that has happened once in 37 games... guess what? not gonna happen...
maybe try something new... handicap the game...
Celtics are 13-4 ATS and 12-5 SU as a dog over the past two years... have not lost 4 in a row in 2 years of basketball...
but until proven otherwise, they can't win a game, right? i mean, they're only the defending champs... why not just fade them blindly? afterall, handicapping the game is too difficult for my widdle bwain...

revenge is on the minds for cleav from last years great series. they tried their best in boston earlier this year - but now they catch the ice cold celts on their home floor on a friday night. close game, but the cavs pull away late by 8-10.
*cavs
**ice4blood - chill out bud...no need to call people buffoons

sorry... but i have lost patience with the bad handicapping that i have to wade through on this site... 1 in 10 actually handicap the games... the rest talk about crap like who the public is on, reverse line movement and other garbage... has made this site completely useless for finding good info...
oh, but as for the buffoon remark... the person in question... well, nevermind...

i will agree that the site is filled with a lot of garbage - but to think comments on RLM, public bets etc is "crap" i dont agree with. i find that type of "sharp" info a lot more valuable than the posts that give a pick with no analysis.
there are many other forums out there - i myself dont only use this one to read up on games - way too much immature crap here/figthing etc. this is a very immature site, but there are some people whos posts i'll always read.

RLM and public percentages aren't useless info... but people who base their picks solely on that stuff aren't really contributing anything... anybody who wants to know that stuff can look it up themselves... i prefer a bit more indepth analysis...
those kinds of "cappers" just muddy the threads, and tend to sway people the wrong way more often than not... have backed off of a couple bets that i was going big on the last couple of weeks because of people who were giving out "inside info" on sharp plays, and it kept me from winning more than i did... my own fault for listening, but i have lost patience with these people...

I hear you Ice.....Not the strongest capper but aspiring to be. To me, this game has Cleavland trying to prove to themselves (and a national audicance) that they are the team to beat in the east this year. I think otherwise tonight, the Celts have it in them to win a key game here imo.

OK folks.. call me a conspiracy theorist.. Ha ha.. but it almost seems as though Boston has been playing like crap lately just to get the public off them and saving all of their thunder for tonight and the BIG game vs. Cleveland.. everyone will be thinking "oh Boston sucks lately so I'm taking CLE" and that's what the bookies are counting on... put to the test, Boston will show up and win.

The past couple of weeks have all been the Celtics setting up their big comeback win vs. Cleveland on Friday night. Everyone is talking about what's wrong with the C's, and why they're 2-5 in the last 7 and all that other crap.
C's win this by double digits.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it.
I am with you here. Celtics take care of business tonight. Oh yeah, and remember just a few weeks ago (Christmas) when everyone was on the Celtics bandwagon when they when into the staples center as two point dog and lost. Well now everyone is off the celtics and on the cavs. Just a hunch, but I see the cavs dropping this one and celtics starting another big win streak!

Boston's defense has slipped. Don't know why? But I do know that Z being out opens the middle for the C's. Maybe Boston needs this big name match-up to snap out of it? Nothing much for me. Just .1u buying 15 for the C's to C's+19. Boston is better than this, only question is when do they snap out of it?
