The Pats had the easiest schedule in the league last year following their SB win in 2018. And, only traveled west of the Mississippi River only once(Houston).
Cake. Made no sense. Neither does this Ravens schedule. Good find Hugh.
I have an intuition that Lamar will get hurt this year. Heavy work load on his legs and he's taken big hits for a guy who doesn't have the frame of a RB. If that happens, the Ravens entire playbook and how they're built turns into scrap. IMO.

they got RG III and Trace McSorley as the back ups. Watched a lot of McSorley at PSU, dude is a gunslinger and a scrambler, but not sure how he'll adapt to the speed of NFL. They would likely turn to RG III, and I can envision how the season would go at that point... Easy sked or not...

NFL is getting faster. San Fran and KC have it figured out. Keep throwing speed and blitzes at the offenses. 300 pound linemen can't catch their breaths.
NFL is closer to the NBA right now. Speed and athleticism is rewarded. Add heighth and you have All Pro receivers and defenders.

or did the titans give the league the blueprint ? hope all is well with you.
The Chargers did it the year before in the playoffs by using up to 7 defensive backs to control Lamar. The Titans did the same by spreading 8-9 players out at the line of scrimmage. Basically take the running lanes away. Nothing more.

Geez i dont know where to begin so i'll say this, Getty is correct Chargers are the only team to put the brakes on the Ravens, the coaching staff should be charged with aiding and abetting the Titans. It's about time they caught a break with the schedule. You dont have to agree with me but you can bet your bottom dollar they will be among the final 6.

I'm not holding my breath for football this year. I don't see how they get it off without a hitch. College is all but cancelled, and the mlb is having some hiccups in their non contact sport.

I sure hope everyone has been able to muddle thru these trying times. Sac, fear not browill go off and if it does after the season is over it will be interesting to see just how much home field mattered. I think i heard that Ravens are going to let in 10 - 12,000. I think Brady jumped ship because he believes Pats are gonna slide.

I say that if there is no CD Summer Newsletter, they just go ahead and cancel the entire friggin NFL season.
Where is our fearless leader at? Has he checked in at all?

With the big election coming up, perhaps CD is out petitioning for votes for Biden and Carmela ... nice Italian name, although she doesn't really look that Italian to me. More Sicilian

I'm with Hugh. No ClubDirt newsletter, no football. The NFL has become insufferable anyway. The Bengals and Browns might improve, however, with all the convicted felons being released from prison because of the virus.
