There is wide debate on who will cover tonight. The forum is pretty split it seems.
The best play on this game was Eagles +3. I wouldn't touch this game at Philly PK or -1. I think Philly covers and maybe wins tonight but I see no "tactical advantage" in that bet. I will stick with the +13 I have them at as the last leg of my parlay.
The thing that is not widely debated is that almost everybody on this site (and personal friends of mine) are on the under. On paper NYG has played a solid few defensive games, albeit against a rookie QB and Stafford with a broken finger in his throwing hand. Let's not forget that this defense gave up 24 to Pitt, 23 to a struggling Green Bay, 23 to Baltimore, and 20 to a putrid Bengals team.
Philly has a healthy veteran OLine, an explosive RB and a talented rookie of a QB (hit or miss I will say). NYG has a QB who historically plays well in in December and the post season with a solid RB and one of the top receiving cores in the league. Personally, I don't think either defense warrants tons of praise (edge to NYG though) and both teams want to stomp each other in this divisional rivalry.
I ask out of pure curiosity, why is the under such a lock for everyone?

Divisional rematches are especially competitive. Teams know each other well. That is an advantage to the defense. The first game went over ... this one goes under.

thursday night game.. cold, a little windy, a good defense vs a decent defense, not sure if short week hurts a defense or offense more, my thought would be the defense they might slack a little..
honestly think it could go either way. could be a 24-20, 21-17 type game. staying away from the total

I'm heavily leaning on the under, and I'm beyond perplexed by this line movement.
It's just like the Miami/NYJ game just 10 days ago; explain how a line opens at -2 dolphins and ends up at +1? "Sharps" were all over the Jets gameday and I have no clue why.
I feel like the Giants will have the momentum from beating Dallas and the Lions, where as the Eagles have lost their last 2 at home.
Redzone is not friendly to the Eagles as has been stated.

Weather wont be a problem. It's nice 44 degrees here. Feels more like 55 degrees outside.
I actually think the Eagles will score some points tonight. The problem is if the Giants can score more than 13 points. I see Eli forcing the ball tonight and having 2 INT.

I was originally on the under.... but the more I think this thing through... I believe Philly will dictate the tempo of the game... I believe they will play loose, as they only have pride to play for and work on things for next year. They have a solid coaching staff and a good core of young players... Still undecided, but now leaning over!
