Hellebuyck is shitting the bed this playoffs.
He did the same thing last year. At some point it gets in your head and then you are really screwed. This appears to be coming down to a 7 game series and the Blues still have to steal one at the Peg.

LOL they were as the 13-3 shots to begin the game would say so. Binny made some nice saves at 1-0.

I wish the Jets had heeded the advice I posted here on April 4th after Mike Comrie blanked the Golden Knights 4-0 in Vegas. I suggested that they should give him a playoff start on the road in Game 3 after they won the first two games at home. Rather than being complacent with a 2-0 series lead, the Jets would have been supercharged to help Comrie get a playoff victory. Instead Comrie got mop-up duty in Game 3 after Hellebucyk let the roof cave in. And today, another roof caved in during the second period.

Eric Comrie. I can't stop calling him Mike. Kind of like how Hellebucyk can't stop sinking his team in the spring.

Whatever fight the Jets may have had in them entering the 3rd period was quickly removed after their sieve goalie allowed yet another puck to get past him. After that the team just quit, and I can't blame them for that.

The sphincter will only become tighter after 48 hours of Canadian press for Hellie… it also intensifies for the Jets team at home. I can’t say enough how much the pressure of being a Canadian Team in the NHL playoffs has immense attention…it’s proven to be difficult, unless you’re the Habs! As we all should also note, Home advantage in NHL playoffs is not nearly as relevant as the lines reflect….until you hit a game 7. Blues will be loose and that’s a big advantage here imo.
GL guys, thanks for the info GA Sports Doc (is that Georgia?) haha and massa- bator
Trying to talk myself out of TB today because at FLA -140 yet again too much value added for home ice. I have this closer to FLA under -130.
What a battle, I would grab that TB/Fla goes 7 games if available and also Kings/Oilers to finish in 7.
Something about the Stars and the way they play the Avalanche is something to be mentioned. I wouldn’t dare bet against em despite that I think the Avalanche are a step above the rest at the moment and also healthy (currently).
Does anybody else consider the Wild a live dog to win the series?
The multiple personalities of this Vegas team is unsettling… they can’t seem to put together a solid stretch of efforts enough to win a 7 game drag out series. Missing that hunger. Should they prevail on lazy talent, I expect they get rolled 2nd round soundly.
Enjoy the two fantastic games tonight!

NHL Stanley Cup playoffs is the most wide open field of any sport in any year end tournament. Faves have historically gone around 55-56% which is about -125 ML. Hence Lippsman's strategy of +120 (if dogs can win 44.5% you can profit).
At those implied odds, most Round 1 series (esp. the top seeds games) include a "Live dog" due to the fact that top seeds will be favored by well more than -125, but the historical data results do not support those odds.

The Jets were trying to do the right thing by Hell Boy.
A good point was made during Game 6 after the Blues scored their 5th goal and that was not embarrassing Hellebyuck or destroying his confidence by replacing him on the spot.
When do the Jets make the call? I doubt Hellebyuck can comeback from here.
