Smith started both games against the Devils last season, recording a 3.01 goals-against average in a pair of losses.

Florida has lost 10 of its last 11 visits to Consol Energy Center.
The Islanders are 2-9 in their last 11 meetings in Columbus.
The Blues (5-1-0) will go with Jake Allen, who's started 1-1-0 with three goals allowed in each. He was given the starting job last postseason, but Brian Elliott has started four games this season and shown a bit more. Allen played both games against the Canadiens in 2014-15 with a 4.51 GAA and .830 save percentage.
Predators G Pekka Rinne is 4-0-0 lifetime against Tampa Bay, while Lightning G Ben Bishop has lost both of his career starts versus the Predators. (Check Weebs goaltending thread to see who is starting)
Calgary ranks 28th in the league with 3.8 goals allowed per game after Jonas Hiller faced 28 shots in a 5-2 home loss to previously winless Edmonton on Saturday. Karri Ramo hasn't fared much better, allowing seven goals with a .904 save percentage in his two starts.
It hasn't helped that Calgary has totaled just 10 goals so far and averaged just 26.0 shots -- fourth fewest in the league.
