Full slate to discuss today and only ONE game tomorrow...kind of ridiculous if you ask me. So onto tonight.
Welcome Back the Caniacs! 10 day lay-off. Hell, Bolts not much better, been 5 for them. So, which early games get the split vs sweep? Isles favored again in DC. Wow, Piroozi that is disrespected double, even after a W as a dog the other night. Thinking the Blue Jackets earn the split tonight. And I will have to put the Rangers/Sabres game as a high Swiss Cheese nominee. Habs return to the ice tonight, 1st in scoring (4.83 GF), 1st in SOG (35.5), 3rd in shooting % (13.6). Do we see a return home let down? Flames should be a little pizzed after that home performance vs Leafs. Habs are 7-2-1 vs Flames in last 10 games, including 3-0 in last 3. The only question is will a 5 day rust from the Habs? You would think they would be a higher price than -125. Do the Pens get swept again? And will see if Blackwood returns for the Devils.
Do the Stars play to their potential tonight or will they ONCE again kill everybody's regulation play. Or the Kings better than most are giving credit? They have won at St. Louis and Minny. Avs -245 . How many times have we seen a -200 lose? Vegas the other night. Speaking of Vegas, as Mud stated the other day, have they NEVER beaten the Blues at home in regulation. (I'll refer to history: those that don't learn from it will be doomed). Anyone want to discuss the Ducks/Yotes, go ahead...that's a "Watch Paint dry game". OH, poor, poor, poor Sens (I learned my lesson last night). And finally, a game I would like to watch but it is late for this ole man. Leafs v Oil. Will the real Oil team please stand up. They seemed to find their offensive legs, but I stated a week ago, they did not address their goalie situation in the off-season and that is showing (3.63 GA that is entering Sens territory).
Swiss Cheese Candidates:
Rags/Swords: 2 young teams that like to skate
Habs/Flames? Habs could cover the number by themselves the way they are scoring
Leafs/Oil? See above, Oil have found the offense and no D
Brickwall Candidates:
Ducks/Yotes? Paint drying
Stars/Wings? Can the Wings score more than 1?
Ok, enough of me...What do you want to talk about?
Those Who do not learn from History, are doomed to repeat it

As of now it's the coaching staff that has the problem. Nothing else has been said here locally.
Something that was brought up last night is Lehner missing the next 3-4 games because of 'pink eye'. I saw one thing about it last night but nothing else.
