Jets ML - Rodgers in a new scheme, took no preseason snaps and will need time to adjust. Steelers overpriced. It will be a rough start to the season for Pittsburgh. Yes Jets have a new head coach and quarterback but their D will stymie the Steelers offense and Fields will surprise everyone today.
Dolphins ML - A no-brainer. Colts are in shambles after the passing of the great Jim Irsay. Daniel Jones is a hopeless case and this last-ditch effort to save their franchise will fail. Dolphins finally listening to their coach. Tua a world-class talent, Dolphins win their first game on the road.
Jaguars ML - Carolina is putting out the same shitty product as last season and yet some contrarians expect a different result. The Panthers will continue to be ass clowns and will get beat most every week. Meanwhile the Jags have invested in their team and will see an immediate return on this investment with a home win over the loser Panthers.
Redskins ML - Similar to the Panthers, the Giants continue to repeat the mistakes of the past and seem to have no interest in winning or improving their squad. Daboll is a loser and though the G men might have a slightly better season this year due to stinginess from other owners, they are going into a meat grinder facing Dan Quinn's team. Daniels continues to shine and the Redskins defense does just enough to get the win.
Bengals ML - Cincinnati learned that they need to get Burrow reps in the preseason to avoid being sluggish out of the gate, and they did just that. On the other side you have the washed-up retread Flacco. A big mismatch here and the road favorite cruises to a win over its division rival.
Falcons ML - I think the Bucs and Baker Mayfield are frauds and Todd Bowles is dumb as a box of rocks. Penix is an up and comer and he is a dual threat also. Falcons defense is being slept on, they will be ready for Mayfield's scrambling antics and his gunslinger style. Bucs on the other hand will be confounded by Penix.
Packers ML - Everyone seems to have forgotten that in the grand scheme of things, the Detroit Lions are a joke. Last year was a fluke. They are not a serious franchise. The Packers on the other hand try to deliver consistency on the football field. Yes the Lions beat them twice last year but last year was an anomaly for Lions football. And they have new coordinators on both sides of the ball, it will take time for them to gel. Goff did not play in the preseason. The home favorite Green Bay Packers get a gritty win at Lambeau Field.
Ravens ML - Both of these teams are overhyped, but the Bills even more so than the Ravens. Harbaugh usually can outmaneuver McDermott and the Ravens will get a good game from Jackson. This game they will throw red meat to the public on primetime. Ravens win.
