And Just When I thought America was going to watch and attend NFL and NBA games again, Lebron James, Shannon Sharpe and Malcolm Brown turn around and PHUCK that all up for everyone.
More Headlines like this coming this fall ....
"NFL Suffers Worst Average Attendance Numbers in Nearly a Decade" "NFL Attendance Crashes to 15-Year Low" "Week Six: NFL Attendance Woes Continue As Thousands of Seats Remain Empty"

Yes exactly...when these little babies get on their knee even starting in the preseason their is going to a backlash that will make the 10-15% drop in tv viewership in 2016 + 2017 look small although that might get covered a bit if there will only be 15-20k in the stands and the home cities will expect a higher tv viewership because those who cannot attend games will watch on TV or if nobody is in the stands and the general sports crazed public missing sports of any type in general.
The owners are in a tough spot here they know they have to placate their little crybabies on the other hand they know about the upcoming backlash of their fan bases and considering the uncertainty of these crazy times and what they are witnessing on the street in front of them and the anger the mostly white fans will have cannot be channelled any other but to boycott games cause if the fans or anybody speaks out ag. this so called righteous cause or have a less than enthusiastic view of BLM ect. they will be called racist and every name in the book by the (((media))) and blacks so this will be their pushback/statement on the way they feel.
They witnessed the Brees thing and I could go on for an hour about that + witnessed the reaction he got from the crybabies when what could be summed up as a cross between a N. and a slightly critical interview Brees did with yahoo....much and I mean much of social media twitter esp. and the reaction to the Brees before and after......got on the comments section under online articles on NBCsports ect. were 66-75 % anti crybabies and pro Brees and that does not even include the silent majority that hates this race baiting stuff disguised by as a protest ag. police brutality for the most part ABSLOUTLY will not be watching this fall when they witness the knee taking and the head down with fist raised black power scenes in front of them..."where is the remote honey".
Pains me though..i make a very good living just betting on NFL games ...95% NFL anyway....and I don't want anything to disrupt that so I kind of walk a fine line here......somewhat where the NFL owners are in right now.

It's not the deterioration of the NFL, but our entire society. A person would have to be a brain-dead moron to attend an NFL game this fall. Not because of the virus hoax, but because of the league's support for the mass rioting and lawlessness we are seeing. Sadly, we may have to move on from football and all professional sports. As children, we watched Sesame Street and the Disney Channel, but have since moved on. The same is happening today with so-called professional sports. Much more important issues are at hand.
There will still be fans this year, mush-brained zombies who don't know any better. But the writing is on the wall for everyone with eyes to see. Like bidding farewell to a longtime friend, it's time to grow up and move on. Enjoy this final season - if you can.

Ty doc your's also.....always enjoyed your posts and NFL thoughts also.....if I did not have a financial interest in this and a history of 25 years of watching along with being a student of NFL history since the 1950's it would be so easy to walk away but the race baiting activists trying to out BLM each other and their hangers on aka espn/nfl network abc/cbs/nbc/fox/si and on and on make it a certainty this year 80% of my watching min. will be with no sound and quick thumb on the remote.

There will always be the hardcore fans who will watch the NFL...I can't say I won't be wagering on the games as I know I will...but I am going to do everything in my power to not put a freaking dime in the pocket of the NFL...
I don't need to watch the games to bet on them...and I won't be buying any merchandise...
Sad to see what has happened to a once great league...

I hear you, Keven. We can approach the game from a strictly merecenary point of view, which is pretty much what I do anyway, but still I think this is my last year. Can't support a league that supports looters and terrorists. Fan support will drop off big this year.

As a handicapper, you will win more by studying stats and game recaps than by watching the games. Everyone I've advised to do this and actually tried it found their winning percentage rising. Watching the games leads to betting with the eyes, which almost always leads to losing.

Watching games is one thing..watching teams and getting a "feel" for their performance @ home vs on the road is another.. > Eye Test. Combine that watching game film Studying play-by-play can be a creative tool .. the real game watching ..removing the noise from the final score etc. Finding out the "true" performance of a team. In College Basketball, I cant watch..to many games. Need to focus on the capping and trust the process. Cant wait to get started

Dr. Success made part of my point...watching games has it's good and bad sides...it can create biases that may blind you to certain aspects of a team's performance while at the same time an experienced watcher can use the "eye test" to gain some benefit...For almost 16 years here on covers, I have great success by capping the cappers...the good, the bad and the ugly...all of them can make you money...it is my strong belief that having so much of the "public viewpoint" represented here, there is huge value just by reading the posts and seeing what the majority mind set is...
Knowing that the overwhelming majority of sports gamblers lose money can make you money.......

Thanks for the insights all! I use the 40' recaps from Gamepass, stats (PFF, NextGen) and read a lot of articles/forums. And I also check the 'public feel' on sites like pickwatch. And only for the 6 teams I've selected pre-season. Otherwise it's just too much info to handle.

Violence and looting are 100% wrong and do nothing to fix anything. Bear in mind, though, that those crimes are committed by opportunists who hitch along behind the honest and peaceful protestors -- much in the same way Antifa co-opt legitimate causes with their retarded neo-Marxist agendas.
On the other hand, if people like OP had stopped pretending a peaceful pre-game protest was an attack on veterans and the flag, it may never have got this bad. So bitch all you want, but if you're one of the clowns who never understood our greatest heroes fought at Normandy for Kaepernick's right to kneel, you're very much crying over milk you spilled.
I hate that our beloved game is in jeopardy now, but I'm not so stupid as to not recognize who the biggest retards were in the build-up to the clusterfuck our nation is in now. The more you try to pretend the kneeling is about something else, the more likely we are to stay without this game.
Lastly: if you want to live in a nation that forces people to stand in reverence before symbols of the state, move to North Korea. If you truly believe the freedom to kneel or stand isn't American, then you have no idea what the founding fathers were doing when they rebelled against autocracy.

If there was sports to post about I would have posted sports gambling pics/thoughts/futures on the upcoming NFL season but currently this subject is bigger than anything. This a perfect time for me, you or anyone else to give their thoughts on sports related subjects like how covid 19 or the kneeling ect. will effect things this year. In a few months this will be near the bottom of my thought patterns when hopefully the games and the money get going hot and heavy and I will be totally focused on that + quiet on all the outside stuff.

Sorry but the NFL does not care if old crabby racists watch their games ...They're marketing to young people who spend big money ...Maybe you should start watching Nascar , o wait they're getting rid of their racist ties as well Just logged In to Madden , BLACK LIVES MATTER is now on the front page .. Go back to watching trans woman figure skating + WNBA.
You're mad bc racists like you are losing their place in the world ...
You sound like the real crybaby. Your platform is just an online gambling forum. Have a great year Stu
