Case Keenum has been horrible against the blitz. And the other teams have figured out with Arian Foster out the Texans one and only weapon is Andre Johnson. Seeing how bad Texans are getting outcoached week in and week out it's impossible to imagine Patriots coach not beating the snot out of them. Just Blitz and Double team A.J.

As my name says I'm just a rookie at all this. I'm here to learn.
However, as a Texans fan who has watched all their games this year it shocks me anyone would bet on them. They're getting booed by their own fans. They couldn't beat Oakland at reliant with a 4th string QB making his first start.
The best bet for Sunday I see so far is taking the Giants -1 at Washington. I don't think Washington can beat hardly anyone right now.
Also liking Seattle at home -5 as NO just not the same away from the Superdome.

Ill be on Houston yet again.. 3 STraight home game vs pub perception of them losing to the worst team in the game and the Brady comeback. Still love that Defense, again not their fault last wk. Took them at 8 at my book, i see a 3-4pt game either way and wouldnt be surprised with a straight up win. Going large on the Texans and Deadskins fading my GMEN. Best two games on the slate this week imo.

Yep the Giants are coming off a devastating loss....I like the Skins also.

Not betting it but pats roll if i had to pick. 37-13. Pats too well coached to have let down especially after coming out bad against broncos. They will look to start fast. They know how important every game is right now and will make push at 1 seed by winning out

I doubt very much if you even know what a letdown is...
I would never expect you to like a big dog like the Texans.....
You`re all about the chalk and big public plays every day.

First of all, NE on the road and Houston at home are both well below average. It was no shock to me that the Texans lost to Jacksonville last week, but this is a different week. Let's not live in the past, but look to the future.
If you closely inspect the way both teams have scored and given up points over the last 3 weeks, there's not that much of a difference between the 2 teams. Their efficiency or inefficiency is almost equal with the slightest of edges going to NE. However when laying 7.5 points on the road, IMO there is only 1 side to look at. Houston + 7.5.
I think there are much better games to play this week, and I will not be on this one. A 3 or 4 point NE victory would not surprise me at all. I think it's more likely than a 11-14 point winning margin.

Yeah, NE is going to be in bunch of teasers. Can see it being it close with NE winning. They're 1/2 game behind Den (tie-breaker) and 1 behind KC for HF adv so would think they know they have something to fight for.

Texans got no D . Pats tend to own then every time they play against each others. Pats finally is healthy on offense to blow teams out. Their D is servicable . Beside the angle for seeding comes in as well

Patriots stress ramping up from August to November and every year they are playing their best in November / December. (This obviously doesn't include December games when they already have playoff positioning wrapped up). I don't think the Pats will fall victim to looking past the Texans and not playing well due to the amount of stress that Brady and Belichick put on playing well and ramping up for playoffs. The Pats are almost always more prepared, focused and better coached then their opponent.
The focus will be on continuing to get the offense clicking. The offense has only been together for two games and arguably only played consistently well for 1/2 in each of the last two games. They will be focused on getting the offense going.
On Defense, coming off an unreal execution of a game plan against Denver, with corners not really having to play a max stress game their health has to be on the upswing. They should either double AJ or if healthy enough Talib will take him out of the game. Teams have taken AJ out of the game last two weeks.
I don't think HOU has weapons on offense to stay close.

Lol BigBadBruin, so what if they are ranked first in total D... They were ranked similar last year before got annihilated by Pats . Their D without cushing is garbage. I like how Pats O is peaking at a good time. Texans have nothing to play for. If they are smart, just tank the rest of season for high draft pick. Pats should win comfortable this time just like the last two times they play against Houston. Brady own wade Phillips D anywhere.

How can anyone bet on Houston? I just don't get it, do you guys watch football?
They are beyond horrid, they suck period. That game vs the Colts where they blew a 20 pt lead at halftime or whatever was the final nail in the coffin.
The Patriots are riding high and I would imagine feeling unbeatable after last weeks comeback. Pats have a legit shot now at the number 1 seed because they hold the tie breaker over Denver. Belichick and Brady will have this team ready to roll on Sunday.

I would assume everyone is aware they knocked them out of the playoffs, but you're right perhaps some are not. I'm not a big revenge angle guy myself but with that said it doesn't hurt either.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

This game is Patriots or no play.
I hope you're right, that is exactly what I am banking on with my Texans selection.

You keep bringing up the previous games in New England but what about the previous couple of times they played in Houston? Houston covered both times and beat them outright the last time they payed there. Just saying if you are going to go off of past results then it's only fair to include past results played at the site we are discussing.
