T-minus 4 hours and counting. Still got some time to gather our thoughts on what should be the biggest game of the year.
My current thought: This is equal to the largest underdog spread in Lamar Jackson's career since 2018 when he went to Arrowhead vs the Chiefs in his rookie season as a closing 6.5 pt dog. Took the Chiefs into overtime and almost had a shot to beat them. I remember that game but i got them when they were +5.5. that was a good game.
Sip on that plus money honey!

Ravens are 5-2 SU in the head 2 head matchup but just 1-2 in San Francisco. home field should be big for the 49ers tonight getting a straight up win here. Harbaugh is 3-1 vs 49ers, only loss in San Fran by 5 during 2015 snakebitten season.

Doesn’t anyone think the Ravens will win outright tonight? With a win they clinch the division and still maintain a full game lead over Detroit and Philly (assuming of course Philly wins today). Bigger game for the 9ers honestly than the Ravens.

nope almost everyone thinks it will be the 49ers outtright tonight, it will be reflected by the snf crew maybe only 1 person will be on the Ravens lol. its a big game for both teams imo but if one team loses i think they still maintain the #1 seed due to tiebreakers. Niners have the tiebreak edge over Lions due to better conference record, and Eagles due to head 2 head record. Ravens have the tiebreak edge over Dolphins due to common games, strength of schedule and victory so if they lose tonight no big deal, next week will decide the afc top seed vs Miami but the Browns are breathing down their necks and still have an outside shot to win the division. i think Ravens have more to lose with a tougher schedule. Browns and 49ers schedule looks like a piece of cake after tonight. final game vs Steelers is no easy gimme for the Ravens they can go from #1 to #5 easily.

Comparing their schedules this year, its close but think Ravens have played slightly harder schedule overall if we look at ESPN SOS, and DVOA past schedule rank but Niners played slightly better QBs against Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts
Ravens SOS - (.514) SOV - (.497)
49ers SOS - (.500) SOV - (.485)
Ravens DVOA schedule - Rank #7 (3.3%)
49ers DVOA schedule - Rank #18 (0.5%)
there's no doubt the Niners are in better form than Ravens lately i believe their win against the Eagles has given them a slight edge compared to opponents the Ravens have faced over the last month. Then again Eagles didnt look like a strong #1 despite their gaudy record prior to facing the Niners. Ravens don't look as dominant as the 49ers up to this point only because i believe they played a slightly tougher schedule. to say its the 49ers at the top and then its everyone else i don't necessarily agree with..maybe in the nfc, but in the entire nfl i think Ravens and 49ers aren't that far apart. we will get to be the judge tonight. i agree with DVOA, Ravens have the better defense and special teams while 49ers have the better offense.

compared both teams common opponents. if its division opponent i only compare the first game not the second.
SF:

@LAR (30-23)
@CLE (17-19)
CIN (17-31)
@JAC (34-3)
@SEA (31-13)
ARI (35-16)
Overall: (194-112) pt diff: +82
BAL:
@PIT (10-17)
LAR (37-31)
@CLE (28-3)
@CIN (27-24)
@JAC (23-7)
SEA (37-3)
@ARI (31-24)

combined stats of QBs from common opponent except Browns but PJ Walker and Dorian Thompson Robinson are pretty much interchangable the stats between them were more or less the same...
SF - 174/264(.659 comp%); 1,644 yds; 7 TDs, 9 INTs
BAL - 150/258(.581 comp%); 1,490 yds; 9 TDs, 7 INTs
again pretty similar. if Ravens didn't let up and blow some of those 4th quarters they would be close to being 14-0
