These are two well-matched teams with contrasting styles, which should make for a great game. The Colts love to beat you with schemes, speed, athleticism and great play calling ? while the Jags just line up and try to punch you in the mouth. They are physical on both sides of the ball, try to slow down the pace of the game and they work hard to avoid mistakes and turnovers.
The Colts are coming off a bye week, so they are well rested and reasonably healthy, but they routinely struggle when they play the Jags and they are not at their best when they are forced into a fistfight. Jacksonville will try to establish a physical between-the-tackles run game that eats up the clock, and more importantly keeps Manning's offense off the field and the undersized Colts' defense on the field. Indianapolis will try to spread the field and utilize the passing game to get out to an early lead and force Jacksonville to abandon the run game and start throwing the ball, which is not the Jaguars' strength.
This is going to be a very close game and while it is important for both teams, this would be a monumental win for Jacksonville. Unfortunately for the Jaguars, Manning has had two weeks to prepare and that gives the Colts a slight edge and they will win on an Adam Vinatieri field goal.
Prediction: Colts 24, Jaguars 21
If that's the truth, I'll win 2 bets and lose 1...works for me

Anyone on here want to give any reasons why they like Jacksonville so much- The only 2 reasons I see on this thread are #1 - everyone is on Rush's nuts
#2 - most of the money is on Indy
Both of these reasons are just plain dumb. Is Rush a good capper? Seems to be although lately he hasn't done much and all I ever see is him big on home dogs. Rush may be good but I'd like to see some reasoning behind his picks.
Fading public money- don't get me started on this. That is the most foolish reason ever to bet or not bet a game. Go with facts and at least make an educated decision even if it is the wrong one.
Most money was on the Pats yesterday, same with Buffalo, same with lots of teams week in and week out. Most of the money Vegas makes on sports betting is from juice - not by outsmarting the public.
Here are my reasons for Indy to cover - Manning is hard to slow down much less be stopped. Harrsion should be healthy tonight along with Addai. Indy is coming off a bye week. Jacksonville has horrible recievers. Indy should load up against the run and make Gerard try and beat them. Gerard will fail miserably if that happens. Just my opinion. I think - Could be a close one so I will play a teaser. Indy +4 and go over 38. GL guys
Indy 27- Jacksonville 21
rush does not have to tell you degens how he comes up with his picks, if he flips a coin thats his buisness, and he must very lucky, because he for the most part he is right, im sure you guys could find another place to throw your johnny morton salt, so go do it haters. gl rush.

It is idiots like you who need to be banned off this site. I am not hating on Rush- I was pointing out that I'd like to see some reasons other than blind followers say "because Rush said so" Hey if he is good then so be it. Why don't you actually cap a game yourself instead of leeching off of Rush anyway? Make a valid point on the bet one way or the other or shut up!!!

tunaking why does he have to explain how he caps his game, people who think they can cap always put up these 2500 word explanation of why they are going a certain way, and the reason for it, and then it goes the other way, and all it was, was a waste of time. so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Tuna Queen 2007,
First off, This is Rush Post site. If you dont like his picks, please START your own post. Rush can flip a coin if he wants. We all are adults in here people can go with Rush as they please or fade him, no need to disagree his picks (IN HIS THREAD). No need put words in his mouth about playing with public or against. Your reviews of how one team are better than other teams based on players performance...etc.. are already factored in Vegas point spread.
thats why the line changes from weather to key players starting or not( Have you figured that out yet?). If you have any convidence in your pick! You would of just bet IINDY and not Teaser Indy!! Teasers are for Puss!!
But you are The Queen of Tina!!!
