One of the Detroit Lions or Chicago Bears is going to start the season 0-2 with two division losses. That would make the path the the playoffs incredibly difficult for them to navigate just two weeks into the season. That all makes this an incredibly important game.
Unfortunately, that has to give the Lions the edge due to their roster talent plus their overall experience. Their quarterback and head coach have both been through adversity before and they will be again.
Despite losing their offensive and defensive coordinators to head coaching jobs, Detroit is the more talented team and they are facing this adversity at home, unlike the Bears who let a lead slip at home and now have to hit the road. Detroit takes this one with a big offensive outburst.
