Obviously, you are not taking into account that Kaepernick is the guy throwing the ball to Davs and Crabtree. Yes, Crabtree had 8/125 last week and Davis had a TD, but Green Bay's pressure and secondary are way, way,way inferior to Carolina. I am not saying Carolina's secondary is great, but it is better than GB. Their defensive front is much better than GB's. Bottom line: it is going to be Kaepernick vs. Cam, and I hate betting on either. Whoever turns it over more, losses. Both defenses will get it done, turnovers and special teams will decide this game. I am leaning Cam here, and I cant stand it.

Last thing I'll say, and I doubt it will sway anyone's opinion... but I've won at least 10 parlays with 7 or more games the last two years. Last week I won a 9 game parlay and went 8 for 9 on another one nearly winning 2 in a week. Betting a ton of games at once is my thing and I've been incredibly lucky. You should back the 49ers they are going to win I know it.

I feel bad for you, I know people like betting the underdog and feeling smart when it hits but 90% of the people in this thread are dead wrong 49ers win. Everyone knows its going to be a close game so you'd rather back the team with a worse offense? The defenses are even and SF has way better players on offense and its not even close. Steve Smith is going to try to play said he was at 71% earlier today and now even worse after getting hurt in practice. He says he's now 57%... who is going to win it for Carolina? Who on that team is clutch? Nobody.

Dont forget GB was missing 6 starters on D, including 3 on the D Line and they lost their best corner in the 1st qtr ....Im guessing its going to be just a bit tougher this week

Cappernicking you are throwing a real wrench in my play, but either am still liking Niners for many reasons people stated. That O just possesses more weapons and while getting healthy, reeled off 11 out of the last 13 that cannot be ignored, combined with the playoff experience that they all possess. Carolina, not so much. Killa Cam will come to play, but just don't believe he has the guns to win this showdown even with a D that is on the same level as the Niners in terms of punching other teams in the mouth. Think the Niners remember that from November as well when they didn't score 1 single point in the 2H and Kap finished with what 107 total yards? Just incredible, don’t care the venue or who was playing for either team, outside of missing their starting QB or many other key players. Sorry, but Davis played and I remember since my buddy had him against me in my 16 team IDP fantasy league lol. Gore was very effective against em though.
Playing @ home will help as they are 7-1 SU there on the year, but that didn't seem to help Nati last weekend and only 2-3 venues can truly be called decided home field advantages in the NFL I honestly believe, especially given it's the playoffs. Still, believe Niners travel to Qwest for the NFC title as I have felt since August and if Kap doesn't turn it over, which is a big if and he uses his legs again, than that will be the difference I feel. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised, but am backing Niners again for a small wager as a pick em and 20-16 sounds good to me, but a 23 point win, really. What do you got 40-17? lol just playing and GL to everyone!
