Big difference between basketball and football though. This is why I dont bet basketball. I bet only football, hockey, and baseball. Its not as easy for individual players to affect the game in those other sports.

Basketball has so many possessions and every player touches the ball so much its easy to miss shots on purpose.

Not saying it never happens in these other sports but the chances are way less
