DK NFL AFC Championship: Chiefs vs Ravens

Ravens -3.5(+100)

Line will probably drop but at even money I'll get first dibs. I know Ravens are favorites in this game but I feel like they're still underdogs. The Chiefs are still defending champions after all. Everyone saw what the Chiefs did to the Bills and will want to back Mahomes now as an underdog that missed out the first time. Honestly I wouldn't want it any other way. Jackson vs Mahomes in the AFC Championship. Quite possible I will get exposed by the hook but I think Ravens are good enough to beat them by double digits if everything goes right. I won't hold my breath that this could come down to a one possession game. I predict Ravens win by at least 7 here.

chiefs defense could give Lamar a battle but i just want to see how ravens defense does against Mahomes he hasn't seen a defense quite like this all season i gotta go with the better defense in this match.

Thoughts on will the line move to -3?

Public money will roll in on the Chiefs, but at -3 I think Sharps might blast it....

-165 money line seems low for now, but not sure where these line move

this game to me feels like that AFC Championship game against Brady in 2011 and 2012, except at home.. hopefully it will turn out like the 2012 season 

still got to dig into the matchup and see if it matches up with my intuition.

 i feel like it's the Ravens year this year but anything can happen on the football field, definitely. i have lot of respect for the Chiefs  we've played some good and respectable battles a few years ago.

hopefully Lamar can win a ring and then we can get talks going again about a Jackson vs Mahomes rivalry they hyped about back in 2019 as being the next Brady vs Manning that would be good for the league.

I’m from Missouri and a long time Chiefs fan, but my money is gonna be heavy on the Purple Birds. I’m gonna wait and hope Joe public falls for the hype, tv advertisements and Swifty love to knock the number down to 3 and buy .5 and pounce!!!

 The Ravens have the only true defense in the league IMO. KC is good but not great. Lions and 9ers both have major flaws. Backing the better defense is usually a good call at this point in the season. Could it be the year of the Harbaugh brothers??

 usually respected money moves lines or on injury news..one or the other, the rest of the betting consensus will follow along. if it goes down to 3 then thats probably respected money but im sure public action will be on chiefs throughout the week in whatever line is available but they wont be the ones moving the line. only time will tell if line moves back that would be telling. opening the line at -3.5 the books are giving some respect to balty with that hook but how can you not take the Chiefs with the hook in what could maybe be a 3 pt game it seems attractive to get with Mahomes at first glance

definitely keep an eye on some of the sharper books that will influence the market like BetCris for offshore and Circa for Vegas. juice is already moving at circa. Ravens is -3.5(+105) now and -125 for Chiefs an indication this line is gonna drop to 3 soon. kinda wish i waited for the +105 lol oh well i'm just gonna wait for the 3

love this Ravens defense. love the way they tackle and fly to the football does feel oldschool in a way cause they're one of the few teams that value and rely on the linebacker position. may not be as physical as that 2000 Ravens defense, but i guess in a league thats trying to pussify that side of the ball, it's as physical as it can be allowed to be lol. 

yeah it was meant to be i didn't think it would be Ravens vs Bills for the AFC title. i wouldn't want it any other way, against the defending champs. ravens had to go thru brady to get to the bowl. now its the other guy "mahomes" .

same lean, just line watching for now. circa had 49ers +100 to -105 now. maybe in a few days it will shoot up to Niners -7.5
