I understand they have 2 RB's but I don't get the whole 1 guy gets this drive, the other guy gets the next drive. When the game is going there way, sure it works fine. But on nights where possessions are at a minimum, it kills their flow.
Take tonight for example, Gibbs last handoff was at 13:07 of the 2nd quarter. If he doesn't get the first drive in the 3rd quarter, he will be over an hour since his last action. Hard to keep a guy going like that.
Same thing happened a couple weeks back against Minnesota. Other way around. Montgomery sat on the sidelines for an hour waiting for "his turn".

Not as bad with Detroit but i get your point. What's really painful is watching Seattle who has a good back in walker yet they insist on running charbonnet even though he has bottom of the league numbers in advanced stats like elusiveness and broken tackles and has one of the absolute worst yds/attempt. They have him and walker running on and off the field every other play. These guys run more on and off the field than they do on actual plays. And as if that wasn't bad enough they want to stick George holani in there now too. I dont know what walker did but he obviously pissed off the McDonald bc it makes 0 sense

Ya good point. Forgot about that duo. I get having a good supply of RB's but I don't know how they expect a guy who is sitting on the sidelines for 20, 30, 40 minutes sometimes to keep his engine running.
