He made a large wager on the under
@Duderonomy
I could be wrong but I’m almost positive the closing total was 45.5. The game finished with 45. So yes, him missing four extra points did in fact screw the over/under

Hope it was alot. He had to humiliate himself on national tv and probably lose his job if not this week the next one he misses. They are roasting him here in the dfw.

No it didn't! After he missed those 4 XPs, the head coach decided NOT to put him out there in the 4th quarter to kick a potentially crucial FG on 4th and 4 from the 17-yard line... and instead decided to go for it (again... ONLY because he had missed 4 XPs). On that 4th down, Dallas scored a TD and kicked the XP.
So, all of the 4 XPs that Dallas lost from their final score, were replaced by the 4 EXTRA points Dallas got by scoring a TD instead of a FG!
You COULD argue that Dallas would have still gone for it on 4th down if he had only missed 3 of the XPs... but the fact is, we don't know that. What we do know is that Dallas scored 4 EXTRA points because the kicker missed 4 XPs!
Net result... zero points gained or lost!

No different then Lawrence throwing 4 picks and still winning the game. These guys will go and watch the film, sort it out and hit the practice field.
Now if Dallas lost, yeah the guys' out of a job for sure.
Funny how winning changes the narrative...

@dustmiester
Dallas scored 31 points. Tampa Bay only 14! Why are you not pissed them for only scoring FOURTEEN points in a game they needed to win and did not show up for?
FOURTEEN measly points and you cry about the team who scored 31
Only at covers do you see this silly stuff
