thats weird 'cause i'm laying 15k on what I think is my game of the year, which is Anaheim Ducks -135 reg.
You gotta be a proper donkey to dump 10k on an islanders team that has lost 9 straight and facing arguably the best offense in the NHL that just shut down not only the defending champs but also the best defense in the NHL.
I'm also like the cowboys a lot but i really don't know much about the NFL.

Perfect Tyfe..I figured a fellow canadian would see value on the ice..I hope you unload as much as you own on the ducks...I will message you during each period to see how your mood has changed. When you are ready to take me serious you know where I am!

Not to the OP but the other guy, Why would you have a GOY on a team in such a bad spot. Yes, the Ducks are a good team and played well. They just beat the 2 best teams in the West on road and travel back home for this game with another one of the best in West on deck. Spot is terrible for them to lay GOY type stuff.

You are basically saying that they are not going to play with any intensity which is just ignorant of you

Fantastic spot for the Islanders tonight! Got it at +210 myself. After a serious closed door meeting they will come out storming and play their game of the season. The Ducks meanwhile will all but sleep walk their way through this game. It will go Under 5.5 as well. 3-2 Islanders final.
I'm on the Cowboys though so we differ on that one.

I cannot for the life of me understand this notion that you and others have of a team "sleep walking" through a game - Do you honestly believe a professional player would allow himself to subdue his own and/or his own teammates' performance.

It is ridiculous to think that way.
It's not a notion my friend, it's a fact. They are called letdown situations and people have been making money of them for years now. They happen on a regular basis. We saw one yesterday when the Patriots came out and played a groggy game against the Browns, because they were coming off of some big contests and therefore had a hard time getting "back up" to play the lowly Browns and anyone that banked on that angle cashed very easily with the Browns easily covering and almost winning outright. The Ducks are in the same situation tonight returning home the midwest after winning tow huge games over the Hawks and Blues, only to have to play the lowlife Islanders who in contrast will be throwing everything they have at the Ducks. Will it be enough, maybe not, but the situation certainly sets up for a great play at a great price on the inferior Islanders. Obviously we know who the better team is but if it was always that easy then guys like yourself would be filthy rich.

Getting outplayed and frustrated is one thing, but I'm sorry I just don't buy into "a team not being up for a game". Like I said before, i don't know much about the NFL, but from what I gather the pats have been far from special this year, and the browns have a more than decent defense - so maybe that explains the way that particular game was played.
In any case, enjoy the game tonight - and wouldn't it be laughable if the ducks win in OT or a SO and we both loose!
I just can't see anything but an islander annihilation.
