The reason you go for the 2 after the penalty is bc now you get it at the 1 which makes it way easier to run it in. 

But then you call a pass play out of shotgun which completely negates the advantage gained by having it on the 1. You are defying all logic and are completely brain dead

Now you FORCE yourself to go for 2 to tie it up -- ignorant coaching backed by analytics 

With a guy that has had a clean pocket all night long and cannot make the throws and is just dumping it off.

Made one good throw for TD and NOW you ask him to make another right after he finally made a good one.

Football coaches oftentimes make some of the stupidest decisions you'll ever see.

Every team should have a separate game manager position. Someone who sits in the booth and decides game management decisions and maybe they can also pitch in with high level things like we need to run more here, pass now, etc, and the coordinators decide the play call. 

The coaches have proved they are morons and can't be trusted for game management

Just turned it on…my dumb ass played over… went back and looked at last game on weekly games… looks like last 5 or 4of 5 games had gone under…. Assuming these are the Monday night football game.     Who didn’t know after the young struggling quarterback had his biggest game of yardage … he’d come back with a clunker… that entered my mind 2-3 times today.    And all the radio boys said high scoring.  High scoring.   They have not been right in my lifetime.   .. stupid play by me…  enjoy the game.   That 4-5 or 5-6 of the last MNF games going under.
