I talked to my friend in Chicago. Hasn't snowed for 2 days. Wind is 5-10 mph. Field should be in good shape. I got in Tuesday morning at 44.5 OVER. Its now 46.5 (BetUs). I love the over as long as the Bears hold up for 14 to 17 points.

Hey everyone - I haven't posted on the forums all season but this question of tonight's total has been going through my head all day today.
I have a gut feeling this game will go over and here is why:
The Saints have come into Soldier Field every year for the past 3 years. It's always this time of year, and it's always cold and harsh Chicago weather. But guess what - the past two matchups between these two teams at Soldier Field have gone way, way over. I actually remember watching both of those games and they were both wild rides.
Yes the Saints are a dome team but that doesn't mean that Brees, Bush and company are pansies in the cold. They've been to Soldier Field before, they've been to other cold cities before. They are professionals, they can handle it.
The Bears have played well at home offensively this year and I don't see why that should change tonight. Also I think it's obvious that the Bears pass D has been lagging in recent weeks which plays right into the Saints' offensive style. Basically I see Brees throwing a lot of bombs and connecting. I see the Bears running through that paper mache' Saints D-Line. That's why I see an over tonight.
