Will the Lakers get knocked off in the first round?

LeBron, Luka and Edwards are all capable of winning games late or having dominating performances.

Lakers don't have size and if Wolves are playing their game, they will out physical LA. Minnesota is a team that has been together, obviously minus Towns, but are playoff experienced while the Lakers are sort of a team in transition and still lacking an overall roster that is likely to win a championship. Still, they have a few game wreckers and will make this a series, just lean towards Minny.

I am more interested in how they build this team going forward. James is playing great at 40, but he is still 40. They don't have a big man. I think they need to find a legitimate big man who can be a big 3 and eventually become a pair with Luka. James will eventually decline and it could be next season, but hard to say that they can lean on him as a core player beyond another season or two (yes, he is still great, but age is undefeated)....Luka is going to need help. Reeves is a nice compliment but is he #2? Probably more of a 3rd or 4th piece if they land a dominant big 

Just remember this Lakers squad was built around feb (2-3 months). Now everyone thinks they will get to the finals or win the chip already? 

Why this year & not next year? because Lebron's old? 

I will go back to this one more time but Austin Reeves is a lock to go off in one of these games and is the key for them to win the series if they are to win it. My reason is because of motivation to not be traded in the offseason.  If he does not perform well in this series there is a very high likelihood that he will be shipped.  I’ll be on his over props in game 2.
