Did you see the series odds after the Knicks won game 4 and Tatum was ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs? Knicks were only favored -300 to win the series being up 3-1 and no Tatum. That line there tells me Vegas was still giving the Celtics a chance to still win the series

I'd say the talent is pretty even now with Tatum out.
Celtics play great on the road, C's have outplayed the Knicks in every game except game 4, C's have had a 20 point lead in 4 of the 5 games, White/Horford/Holiday/Brown have tons of playoff experience, C's have a great defense. I assume the Knicks win game 6 but you never know! All the pressure is on NY to win game 6...imagine them having to head back to Boston for a game 7 after blowing a 3-1 lead and Tatum going down? Would be an amazing story to watch unfold.

Imagine thinking the best road team in nba history should be +250ish in an elimination game in a venue that isn’t a major home court advantage.

Frankly boston is playing better team ball without tatum, sort of like the knicks played better team ball when brunson was out.

Hi, I think it has a lot to do with each team’s seasonal record.
New York is 51-31 team versus Boston, a 61-21 team. That info. has more to do with the series price before it starts, and who has the extra home game.
But nonetheless, it has to be taken into account throughout the series.
