To the bank fellas .............
If you look at the Thunder's losses this year only 2 of them have been in games where a decent amount of people thought they were gonna lose: @Dallas and @Utah.
When a decent amount of people like them to be upset, the Thunder absolutely destroy the other team in games they are motivated for: @MEM, @DEN, vsMIA, @BOS, @POR, @ORL etc.
They mainly only lose games that they are not fully challenged or up for like @SAC, @ATL, both losses to Houston etc.
The Grizzlies are not the same this year and I don't think they'll get it in full throttle by the postseason, the Lakers just can't beat them (in their home fortress or away), San Antonio can but I still think the Thunder are the better team with homecourt, Dallas can't beat them as the Thunder have won the tight games with them, the Clippers are a mess with little playoff experiences together, the Nuggets are their bitches, and Utah can't win on the road against them to threaten them.
I think the only team that will really give the Thunder a massive sweat is a reasonably healthy Houston Rockets team. They have the physicality and mental toughness and expereince to close games against these guys. I don't think Houston would win the series but they would take them the distance IMO.
OKC stuggles with extremely physical teams like Memphis last year (Memphis had more toughness to them last year and players were healthier for longer stretches). That's why I think they either lose in a shocker to Houston or they lose far in the playoffs against the East's best.
