I like this series wager because I don't think the Pacers will win more than one game, since the all star break I felt the Thunder were by far the best team in the NBA. Denver team got better down the stretch and looked a bit like the team that won the championship a couple years ago but fell short against this deep talented Thunder team.
The Thunder can score a lot and play lock down defense, very good on both sides of the ball, they are much better team than the Knicks which the Pacers are well aware of. The only edge the Pacers will have is not having any pressure of winning this series so they can play loose, no one thinks they have a chance- why would they? Outside of a top player or two getting injured i can't see it being too competitive, this Thunder team has played w a chip all year long still pissed about last year when everyone said they were a weak number #1 seed and wasn't surprised they lost in the second round - To be honest I said that as well.
Game one's can be tricky , i remember when the Iverson scored 50 plus and beat Shaq/Kobe in LA in the first game - only to lose the next 4 games.
This Thunder team is messing around and will out for blood every game, of the 3 teams that have won the last 3 finals I think the Thunder are the deepest. The line opened at -9.5 and went down to 9 - I think it may go back up again because I do think the Thunder look to set the tone at home and win by more than 10.
Thunder -9 and series wager Under 5.5 games 135/100

Solid write up. I took Pacers +3 1q for medium/small on 1q ML, and Okie -9 for the game for large. Couple of really interesting matchups on the court this series. Would not be surprised to see Indy heading into locker room w a lead at half. But fully expect Okie to get their act together, from 2nd half thru rest of series…sans a game in Indy. I think the Pacers can win 2 games but won’t be surprised if they don’t. Looking forward to it though. Thanks again for sharing your insight
