Not remotely crazy. They were basically a coinflip to win game 7. After they won that game, their odds were cut in half (as a result of "winning the coinflip).  Not crazy... just basic math.

LeBron knows he hast to beat them. If he goes one and five against them in the playoffs it will look really bad for his legacy, especially since this is an old golden state without KD.

 Not to mention the lakers as currently constructed went 3-0 against this team and have the length and #1 defense in the nba to give the warriors major issues - the warriors were mediocre this year for an entire year. The lakers once they got their new team were a 50+ win team with great off and def rating

I’m curious how Steph handles this news. Like, when they say, you are now going to lay down to the Lakers and let them win. I wonder if he is just like, “yes sir” or if he has a hard time with it. 

And do you think they just have one guy that goes to all the players and coaches and let’s them know how many games they have to lose or win. I mean, how do they go over the script? Do they sit down around a table like actors or do they just kind of say, “you’re losing in 6 games, figure out the rest” and then leave the rest up to the coaches.

Lakers to win series v Warriors @ +120 is tremendous value. I'm already on it and hit it again this morning. To me, Ws just don't have the "it" factor this year. The in fighting, the road woes, the volatility of Greene just don't add up to another series win over a team that does have the "it" factor. Lakers are jelling at the right time. They have more rest than any team having missed playoffs last year while GS played an extra 2 months of playoff hoops. LBJ and Davis are rested which is huge. Ws may get 1 in LA but I think that's best case scenario. To me it looks like that Sac series took a lot out of Ws, it'll show at some point. The fact they brought Foster in G7 is another tell. I don't think the League passes up this opportunity to advance LBJ and AD and the huge worldwide fan base of Lakers. If I'm correct, Phx will get back in series vs Nuggs to lengthen that series so that once again Lakers come in as the fresher team. Lakers/Denver will be a great series and Lakers/Philly will be off the chain. But starts with Lakers getting by the defending champs which if you've followed Ws seems inevitable to me and garner books a lot of dead Warriors' money.

I agree that the series line seems suspiciously low and makes GSW more appetizing.  I also do not want to bet against GSW in the series. I feel this may be the best # you can get on GSW. IF you think LAL win the series I would until game #2. Lets not forget about GSW home court. Now before the playoffs and SAC series they were like 12-1 or 11-1 after AS break.  Take that into consideration before game #1 in GSW. GSW is most def more tired than LAL, however they are all professionals. Who ever executes the best and continues with the game plan wins this game #1. Anthony Davis is just over due for his annual doctors not and thats sad to mention.  LAL/GSW toss up for series, but game #1 goes to GSW.  LAL rebounding V GSW 3pt shooting is going to be the main subject on the box score end game. Who wins that battle wins this game. I mean GSW can't shoot any worse from the FT can they?

This'll be Ws 5th playoff game in 9 days, Lakers 3rd in 9. I think fatigue, specifically injury when fatigued comes into play. Last season Ws had at least 3-4 if not a week off bt/w series, now they had 1 day and face a very hungry talented Lakers squad, ooof. Even if Lakers drop G1 I'm really not worried. Warriors to me don't have the "it" factor this season, Lakers do. Ok I'll stop beating my drum and let the games play out. GL everyone.
