It seems as if these players know the outcome and throw up the white flag early in games. I'm a bit nervous on my Laker's futures to win this series and the West after that performance. The Jekyll and Hyde efforts teams put forth is kind of unnerving for a gambler.
Even w/ LA coming home w/ the split and getting next 2 in LA the way the Dubs can put up 20pts in 3 minutes is concerning. Suddenly their regular season road woes are a distant memory, or are they?

A little too early for hedging but 40/1 (champs) would be nice if it hits. Lakers have the right mix for a ship. Lakers show up when they want to. Last night a copy of Memphis game two. Lakers for the series, and hopefully get past Denver.

That was the regular season. That never had anything to do with this team. They have won at least 1 road game in 28 consecutive playoff series. That's gonna extend to 29 in this series.

That is such a tremendous accomplishment. It doesn't get talked about enough. Seriously, it doesn't. After last night's complete domination of the Lakers over the middle two quarters (84-47!!), the Warriors seem like they'll surely win one of these next two in L.A. Is that concerning for Warriors backers, the fact that the public perception (outside of Lakers Land, of course) is that the Lakers aren't going to protect their home court advantage over these next two games?

You say 'should I be worried' as if you didn't bet on a team that had to win a play in game just to qualify.
Next series is gonna be Denver vs Golden St, no doubt in my mind.
Lakers won game 1 cuz they had a major rest advantage. The Dubs dynasty is not gonna be stopped by the Lakers. They barely beat the Wolves in the play in and the Nuggets almost swept the Wolves so I don't see Denver losing to the Lakers if LA even got through.
Denver lost 4-1 to GSW 1st round last year, with the higher seed. A rematch is almost certainly on the cards.

It all comes down to Klay Korver...If the Korver we saw last night can play like that on the road...GS will beat the Fakers.....Curry did not have to do anything last night...

That was Steph's 2nd best game of the playoffs so far, behind his 50-point game 7. He did virtually everything on offense, and put on an absolute masterclass of offensive domination as a point guard.
I'm convinced you don't even watch the games!

Denver will face Boston in the final. I think the Celtics look very good but Denver would have home court and they have the 2nd best home record in the NBA, plus I'll take Mike Malone over the C's cross eyed coach.

Nah. I'm sticking to my guns. Phx going to beat Nuggs tonight looks like then get Paul back and push that series to 7. Philly will win Sunday as League cannot have MVP lose 3 in a row since the announcement and at home no less and then steal G5 at Boston and it's a series. Lakers will split at home but win G5 at GS then G6 and get rest to face winner of G7 Phx/Den. SoCal needs a Finals more than San Fran again, that's played out. Lakers haven't hosted a Finals since when? Philly hasn't won a tilte since when? I still like Philly v Lakers.

If somehow they win vs GS, they will be lucky to win 1 game vs Denver. If Jokic doesn't get Draymond'd or Zaza'd, Denver will be getting their rings sized shortly.
the correct answer was to tell him to check his script

If the Sixers win on Sunday, they're unlikely to steal Game 5 in Boston. They'll get smoked there if the series is 2-2 (in my opinion).
