In round 3 teams that lost less games in the first rounds in comparison to their present opponent have won 19 out of the past 20 series (Steve Makinen of VSIN).
That is applicable to the Pacers and the Timberwolves. Obviously it ain't happening for the T'Wolves. That Caruso is a top 20 most valuable player in the association.....the time he is in there he totally wrecks what the other team wants to do. T'Wolves MAYBE win one game if they win any. I'll take Brunson or Haliburton over Edwards in starting my team every day of the week.
Pacers have the perfect opponent in round 3....they'll continue to get killed on the boards, but everything else lines up for them....they are playing a team who plays 6.5 guys max and the Knicks' tongues are going to continue to be hanging out the last six minutes of every game. The hardest part of playing the game of basketball is running back on defense.
I took the Pacers at +350 before game four of round 2 to win the East, and I came back with the Knicks at +130 yesterday to lock in a profit. I am expecting the Pacers will win in 5 or 6.

Great stuff, and I agree. Another thing to note in this series is Rick Carlisle. 100% the best coach left in the playoffs.
