I improved to 5-0 in the playoffs with Indiana's win in game one, moving me to 14-6 on the year. I've been feasting on road dogs getting great lines that still take into account home court advantage which I have been arguing, ad nauseam, doesn't exist in the playoffs. Nonetheless, I actually like a home team today:
1* Pacers +5 1/2
The regular season doesn't count for much in the playoffs. What matters is NOW. And right now, Indiana is as good as Cleveland. As I mentioned in my game one writeup, Indy wasn't given enough credit for beating Milwaukee 4-1 as I thought the Bucks played ferociously in that series. Anyway, these are similar teams with similar styles. Here's where the play comes in: Cavs have shot between 42 and 46 percent in the first thee games but gave up over 50 percent in two of them. Cavs had huge effort Friday with backs to wall but if the defense reverts back to what it was in the first two games, Pacers can win. I think it's a tossup so getting 5 1/2 is value.
Opinion only:
Nuggets +7
