It was winning for 47 minutes 59 seconds
@MDizzle23
Just like in game-1, the Pacers did not have the one single lead the entire game until the last second in the game.

I've got 40 years of gambling, my worst beat EVER, I had 900 on the Pacers. It passed Washington beating the Bears on the hail mary this past fall for my worst beat.

I’m not sure what happened, Pacers were up 10 late in the game…Thunder looked lost on offense, couldn’t hit a 3…Pacers looked amazing on both offense and defense and crowd was into it…how Pacers ended up losing by 7 is beyond belief though

Pacers offense was bad in the 4th started missing fts Turner and Nesmith throwing up bricks. Don't think Pacers will win another game after choking like that.

Had mine last week. Golden State Valkyries +6.5.
They were WINNING by 8 with 3:30 left and lost by 9. 2 turnovers with free throws in 4 seconds. Other team didn't miss a free throw.
18-1 run in 3:30. That's a fucking bad beat.

2 "away from the ball fouls" on inbounds meant OKC got 2 FTs (1 FT for each foul) and the ball back.
Mathurin caused both of those. He also missed 3 FTs in a row when he's an 89% FT shooter.
The whole ending sequence of the game was sus as fuck considering it was a 4 or 5pt game at times during that sequence.

That is an extraordinary sequence - the absolute definition of a bad beat

The question should have been, how were the thunder keeping it a close game being out shot from three 11 to 1? That's 30 points to make up and the free throws weren't that crazy off.

33 to 9 ..24 points OKC dominated every other statistic ..
Hali could have laid it up and in with 7 seconds left but instead tried a 40 footer at the end...
To drive the length of the court...

Was about to post the same thing - degens only remember these things when they lose. Then it HAS to be rigged. Mathurin is a moron. Both those fouls were clear as day, they were trying so hard to get the inbounds they were fouling all over the place. Then the pressure got to him and he couldn't hit a FT. That's all it is.
The nature of basketball allows for big comebacks. It's definitely gotten worse in recent seasons but it's always been a part of the game.
I think that game means it's curtains for the Pacers now. They probably played their best game of the series, Thunder could not hit a 3 all game, they seemed really on top of things and it was such hard work for OKC to get a basket or a stop while the Pacers seemed to be in the flow and rhythm much more.
I think OKC blows them out next time back at home and finishes them off in Indy now.

I don't think so either it totally looked like they were gonna go up 3-1 and were tasting the championship, Thunder looked sluggish and no 3s falling.
You have to hand it to OKC. It looked like another year of be the best and still come up short. Like the Bills of the NBA.
They fought through that adversity and pulled it out. I think the momentum will carry back in OKC and they win the next 2. People act like the Thunder are bad on the road - they didn't cover on the road in playoffs because they were such big favs but were 32-8 SU in the reg season.
The Wolves were dogs of only 3 at home compared to Indy.
