Crazy but bear with me. Every season late in the playoffs Scott Foster seems to be on maybe what you wouldn't think is a "critical" game at the time but when you look back you see how important it was. Foster seems to get these certain teams into position to win it all. 2018-19 he was on 2 critical Toronto playoff games w/in the span of a week that propelled them into the Finals, first the bounce and then off 2 losses to open the series a crucial double OT win against Bucks. 2019-20 some key wins for both Heat and Lakers (imo the League gift wrapped that Laker championship best time to do it, shortened season and a pretty tame Heat team). 2020-21 Foster on 4 crucial Bucks win to the Champ.
Last night was a big win for Philly and totally changed momentum in the series. I think they win this series so grabbed them at ML +135 for tomorrow and +125 for series and +500 to come out of the East. I expect to see more Foster in more Philly games soon.
What better match-up then Cp3 vs. Harden. And who do you pick when Foster is on that whistle?
I was the guy that bet on Russell Westbrook

winning this series is the peak of the Sixers season. they can't hang with Boston or Milwaukee in a 7 game series, i don't care if Harden plays as well as he did last night for the rest of the playoffs. They can get by for now because as well as the Heat play, they are still exploitable on the defensive end because they are not as athletic as most nba teams....just like Philly. Tobias Harris and Mattisse Thybulle are the only solid defenders the Sixers have on the perimeter and even they aren't very good compared to other wings around the league. Celtics and Bucks play very solid team ball and can defend better than most teams in the NBA
I think when you posted a week ago about this series i said the Sixers matched up well and i picked them in 6. That was before Embiid was ruled out. If Embiid was healthy from jump this series would be 3-1 Philly right now, he just has that much of an impact on both ends.
Heat only have to win 2 of 3 though, anyhting is possible

Finally someone else who knows Philly is winning the Heat series EASY! You can just tell NBA and Vegas wants them to win, all that money that people used to bet on Heat series right after embiid was announced OUT and also, NBA rather have Embiid and Harden in than boring heat! Philly = more drama = more views = more $$$$!!! Philly winning the series is a LOCK already!

Almost happy hour thank gawd. I just don’t think the powers that be in the East allow Durant, Irving, Embiid and Harden to all go out this early. I also don’t think the League wants MVP and runner up MVP ousted this early, not a good look. That’s some significant star power. I like Spoelstra and I like the Heat but the way Embiid came back so strong and now Harden confident they are a force. Heat have dominated at home but that was when they were playing well and sans Embiid. I would think IF the League want Philly and their stars to advance then they wouldn’t risk a Heat win here tonight and neither would Philly.

I hate that Lowery is out. He’s been a wasted slot since he’s been so bad. They could let Philly lose here, win game 6 and then finally break the home streak in game 7?

I think going forward the Suns are at a clear disadvantage with Scott Foster as they go deeper into the Playoffs.. The Suns have been lucky to avoid Foster this series but I'm sure they will see him again in the near future

have the perfect cocktail balance on board. I see a lot of Heat love and I understand it home white out all that but Heat have all the pressure on them tonight not Philly…76ers should play loose and with a chip on their shoulder for those 2 earlier losses in south beach
heat are struggling from deep and added pressure at home to make maybe isn’t the best recipe if Philly grabs those long rebounds and scores
plus I’m interested IF Miami loses what the chase will be for the late game, there’s no chase if Heat win
