I keep saying NBA players are lazy and only give it their all when they feel like it. Anthony "no show" Edwards had a good great game last time, so he figured he didnt have to show up tonight. Basically let everybody else put the effort in. LAZY LAZY LAZY over paid players. The size of the contracts take a lot of motivation for players to play hard. They be laughing all the way to the bank. Gamblers will say well NBA players want to win a championship and am sure most do, problem is the players themselves know if their team can actually win a championship. They know if the players around them can help to win the big one or not, so if they think it isnt gonna truly happen, players get lazy. Think of all these things as just human nature. The true superstars in the league try to bring it every night, but how many true super stars are in the league. Look at Gobert, 110 million for 3 years and before that 205 million. He doesnt dominate a game, he just better then the players below him. He should be dominating games and he doesnt. Take a guy like dick butkus, he would play a game for free, just to play and hit somebody. How many nfl players would do that?
I think the only way you could get every player to give it their all every day, is if they got paid when season was over based on your play for the year, cause guaranteed money makes players very lazy. Just my 2 cents on how i see the players. Its just so tough to risk your money betting cause you dont know if the players will show up for work. Like james harden if hes at the strip joints the night before, you can forgot about getting 100 percent effort out of him. Hes lazy
ZERO REASON FOR EDWARDS TO ONLY PUT UP 2 SHOTS IN 1ST HALF. makes no sense in an important game like that. You cant score points if your best player wont shoot the ball. You gotta have heart to win. People get down on lebron james, but the guy even for his age, shows up to play.
