@youngbucman

CAVS are 2-1 ATS as dogs this year. The lone ats loss was @miami where they were on a b2b and Lebron didn't play

My personal thoughts are, "when will you ever catch the Cavs@+7"?

And if you are leaning Gsw you gotta say to yourself, do I really want to lay 7 against the Cavs"?

Tough one to cap. Lots of good mstchups on the floor. I like the OP's train of thinking.

Cavs will be worse off with Love and Kyrie

Love hasn't been producing on offense and his defense is terrible. Kyrie is just coming back from injury and has never played a lick of defense.

Only way Cavs win is if Lebron goes off and plays 40+ mimutes

My thoughts are:

a) everyone can have their opinion/angle but ultimately you are just trying to convince yourself, there is no advantage coming into this game - both teams will have had a days rest, both are healthy, motivated etc. Yes Warriors have a bit more continuity (Cavs just got Kyrie back and have had some others coming into/out of the line-up) but both teams are fit and will be ready.

b) obviously Golden State being at home tips the scales in their favour, but..

c) these games usually are very hard to pick, you see a lot of hyped up games like this, only for one team to lead by 10 early and it never gets closer, or the game to be a see-saw with multiple lead changes, or one team comes storming back... I think most will agree these marquee match-ups are never very predictable.

d) and finally, you can talk about revenge factor, home court advantage, momentum, chemistry, health etc. but overall I think this is a very tough one to pick straight up... so if you can get one team +6.5, then to me that seems like decent value. Even a comfortable Golden State lead of 9 and a late Cavs 3 pointer wins you the bet. Cavs would really have to be outplayed big time for this to lose.

Would like to hear some opinions,

Cheers

ur wrong...its about LBJ...and if he is "down" he drags all of his teammates

Take LBJ under pt total as a hedge.....

Don't do it bros!!

Don't fall for any "revenge" angle...its F*&( chrismas and LBJ is pi$$$$ed inside!!!

The way I look at this game is this-

Golden State is so much better than the cavs, that the small spread makes Golden State seem like the SQUARE play here.

That's the only way I can see this. If this game were not rigged, Golden State wins by 20+ and the public will also think this.

Golden state will be a public bet, no doubt.

But the small 6.5 spread gives it away that likely it will be rigged to keep it close, for entertainment purposes. Just like in the finals the spreads were 6.5 and they rigged it for cleveland to cover and win.

(Remember curry bricking all those shots)

I think the cavs may even win outright, as all the squares will be pounding golden state hard. But if GS does win, then I consider it another gift from the books.

That is the only thing I can think of right now...unless of course the books are just under rating GS big time here....but if they let them play for real this will not be fun for cavs fans...or bettors.

I think I'll take a shot with Cleveland +6.5 in a parlay

Locked in Cavs +7. Really glad I could get the extra 0.5 points. Means I can only lose if Cavs lose by 8+.

Here's how u can sum this all up.

If the raptors & Milwaukee can cover twice against GSW

Then what do you think Cleveland is capable of.

Basically going against Cleveland is saying My raptors, and Milwaukee have better lineups

Come on now.

This is NBA's day, the always have put on shows during x-mas day.

Its their theatre, just enjoy the show. A close game only means something more during the playoffs in case they matchup again.

Spreads didn't matter at all for last Christmas

Either bet the favorite with confidence or take the underdog moneyline.

Don't expect all 5 games to be close. Teasers will be useless.

I do think they are the correct side but if someone with 37 chromosomes is betting them too, I worry about my ability to cap. I do thank the betting gods that Zippy the Pinhead for some reason thinks putting them in a parlay helps in a "rigged or possibly rigged" game. What he means by this I have no idea. Maybe someone who is fluent in gibberish can translate.

Looking on x factors inv this game.
LeBron and Curry will play their usual awesome game, but who will make a crucial play at the end of game or who will make turnovers.
I think Love will outplayed Green and Igoudala today.
Mozgovl will step up tonight.
Cavs will share the ball today, LeBron will be facilitating the offense, Kylie will in the wing and make Curry work on defense.

You obviously haven't got a clue how sports works. Now I"M scared to bet Cavs because YOU'RE on them

Do I really have to spell it all out for you, as to why it's beneficial to put thsi in a  parlay?

number 1- I will bet less, with less risk to win more.
number 2- if I am wrong and it's not rigged for the cavs, I dont lose much

If you don't have enough brain cells to see the games are staged, then what is your moronic reasoning behind picking an inferior team? and an idotic straight bet, no less?! Wow.....

Well I feel complimented than a complete fool would call me a moron.

Gotta say you are the moron in this instance.

In your little rant you basically outlined every possible outcome.. very helpful! Also when you say "what is your moronic reasoning behind picking an inferior team?" .. it's obviously the +7 handicap that goes along with it.

Bottom line is: big stage, hyped up game, 2 stacked teams, any outcome is possible, therefore in my eyes the odds favor the team catching an extra 7 points.

Wow.....Well I feel complimented than a complete fool would call me a moron.

I agree with the OP, disagree with those who blindly pick GS - tonight is going to be a huge test for GS, they won a lot of games against weak-medium teams ... Cleveland at its best can be as strong as GS and even better.
