ARZ is 2-8 in the last 10 and have lost 4 in a row.
Linemakers have to make thousands of lines each year.
They have to mix it up to keep the advantage in their favor.
Doesn't matter if bettors win today with NYM or ARZ,they'll just come back and bet the next game and give back the money then.
The key to success for collecting gambling revenue is to keep the gambler gambling EVERYDAY

Not a bad idea if the roof is open...gotta wait to see the lineups though bc the mets lineup has been a shitshow and their scoring rivals some soccer teams' at the world cup

Biggest "NO play" of the year for me. Pelfrey is a huge question mark even though he supposedly had a strong side session. Kennedy is serviceable at best, a gas can at worst. 2 struggling teams, but with enough capable offensive players to light it up on a given night. If Pelf can't locate the split and has to throw that flat 93 fastball, I'd say the Mets are in trouble. Is Reyes gonna be back and is he gonna be healthy enough to contribute. Is Castillo subtraction by addition? Just not enough certainties here to lean either way.

Pelfrey feeling better after side session after his neck got balky on the long flight out west, but before that he was complaining of "dead arm". That last game against Atlanta, he allowed 15 of 25 he faced to reach and they were lining hit after hit against him. He wasn't fooling anyone and his fastball looked really flat and he couldn't get any swings and misses on his split.
Reyes is apparently feeling better and right now is scheduled to start, but this will be a big test tonight because he couldn't swing lefthanded the last few weeks. At least Kennedy doesn't throw hard, so it might be a good jumping off point for Jose. Beltran back in after a full day of rest, which means we can put Francoeur back on the bench where he belongs, especially vs. righties. Castillo's return is not popular, but as the manager points out, he does take a lot of pitches, gets some walks and along with Reyes and Pagan sets it up for Wright, Beltran, Bay and Davis. That's on paper a solid right, left (switch), right, left power foursome. I like Thole a lot as a catcher, especially being lefthanded, but sounds like Jerry is going to go with the veterans Barajas and Blanco. Thole may be send back down soon.
This Arizona team is scary though. They don't pitch much, the bullpen has been a flat-out disaster, but they have some serious power in this lineup and a power pitcher like Pelf who is struggling with his secondary stuff could be just what the doctor ordered for Reynolds, LaRoche, Drew, Upton, Johnson and Co. The OVER seems like a solid play, but I'd feel better if the roof was open.
Hope this didn't make things even more confusing. Good luck and hope the Mets win for your bet and for my sanity!!

FYI Reyes expected in the lineup but D wright is probable but may sit and rest his knee.
If mets have pagan, reyes, beltran, wright, all in the lineup they may be worth a play at +$ vs kennedy and that pen. Dbacks looked horrible yesterday...correia season high K's by the 5th inning I believe.
