POD Early - Mariners under 7 -126 - 15 units-Bookmaker
Redsoxs have 2 runs in 2 games without devers and with Bregman and abreu out as well it leaves a bunch of inexperienced bats to deal with castillo.Current soxs are 4 for 30 against castillo with 13 strikeouts. Crochet goes today and he is locked in allowing 2 runs or less in 8 of 9 starts. He loss to Seattle in Boston allowing 4 runs in a 4-3 final. I expect way better from him today. 1st 2 games were 2-0 and 8-0 but all those runs were scored off buehler who had nothing and 6 of the runs were on 2 swings. Give me under 7 here
Success is never final, failure is never fatal, and it's the courage that counts.

I have a question for you. I don't mean this in any negative context whatsoever. Since bullpens have (for many, many years now) been so inconsistent, and starters usually only pitch 5 or 6 innings for the most part, is there a reason why you don't play 1st 5 innings only vs. full games? Thanks

Excellent question and I dont ever take offense to anything from people with good intentions. I have started to play some under 1st 5's lately. I got completely burned on 2 ironically the funny thing is there's alot of games with scoring early and then no scoring the rest of the games.

@Brooklyncapper I appreciate the response. I play almost only 1st 5 innings myself. Best of luck today
I think today's game between Boston and Seattle could fit your mold. The total is 6.5 cant' find 7 anywhere and there is NO way they will let Crochet pitch that far into a game again after he went almost 9 innings and gave up a late run last time he was on the mound. So maybe a F5 under before he tires works but as BC said, many of these games have early runs then settle down. Also today's game is a day game and the shadows in Seattle have always been problematic for the hitters.
Both of these pitchers have close to a 5 ERA lifetime against the opposite side but both hurlers are pitching well of late. I agree with BC that when he goes off-path it hasn't worked out for him but, just like yourself, I also brought up him playing F5 and completely avoiding these fledgling bullpens.
