Reasons I like the Rangers to win today
1) They don't want to play a game 7 in St Louis. Why risk it? Full bore today.
2) Nolan Ryan said they will win in 6. He's smart.
3) The gambling gods love Ryan, played the game for 100 years and represents baseball
4) Ron Washington likes coke and the Rangers still gave him a chance to manage. Players in general and some in recent history like Ron and they like Coke so they can relate to him. Team chemistry is high
5) Mark McGwire cheated the game. He brings bad karma.
6) LaRussa and the Cards blew their load in Game 5. It was there game to win. Gambling gods wanted the Cards and Over that night. Tony denied them their right. They are pissed off.
7) People love Game 7's. People generally don't get what they want
8) Rangers are the better team. I like their bullpen better. I like their starter better.
9) Cards are a nice story getting TOO the World Series, made it all the way after no one gave them a chance. Great run. Winning the WS would be icing on the cake, phenomenal story. Phenomenal stories rarely happen.
10) Rangers were here last year. Their back. Don't see them not winning and today is the day
