The Dodgers have given up 155 runs so far this year, which is respectable. A little better than middle of the pack. However, whenever I watch them play it's like a double digit wiffle ball game score. What's up with their pitching staff? Why so erratic? Hard to figure...

Injuries to their starters is putting pressure on everyone else especially mid relief like Banda. No Kershaw, Glasnow or Snell. Good article:

No surprise.  We knew going into the season all their starters have glass arms outside of the young Sasaki.

A clue from today's game preview...The Dodgers have faced a length issue most of the season -- their starters have thrown 176 innings, the fewest in the majors. Roki Sasaki went four innings before being removed from his start Friday.

"It's tough," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "They've got to put us in position to run them deeper. That's just the way it goes."
