Sad poem I came accross that touched me. So I thought I would share it with fellow gamblers. I also lost a lot in the NFL so I kinda feel what this guy was going through when he wrote it.
"Gambling is bad
It's made me so sad
Crying in my room
Almost hoping for my doom
Playing poker like a joker
I'm still a smoker
Lost everything to the NFL
My life has become HELL
So many dreams and wishes
But theres still no Mrs
When I'm winning I'm spinning
When I'm losing, I'm boozing
If I'm not boozing
theres no way I'm snoozing
I can't stand all this losing
I need some weed to go cruising
People told me I was special,
Unlike the rest, maybe even one of the best
So just let me get this off my chest
The only thing I've gained
was a shit load of pain.
Feelings of being insane
Thoguhts of crashing this plane
Why didn't anyone warn me?
Now I wish
I was never born me."

Gambling WILL ruin your life. It will affect it in someway, shape, or form. Some of the vets here say "money management!". What they don't realize is they are losing TIME that could be devoted to something else more worthwhile. It is a sin. Declared by all three monotheistic religions. My goal is to quit this by 2010. One who gambles, lives life in shambles.

Basicly had lots of bad beats so far. Refs had a lot to do with it. Several calls blown, Now I gotta take a step back and take some time off and regroup. Every year I do good in football. This year has been a nightmare.

Here is a poem from me.
I lost a lot of dough so far this year
Damm I need a beer.
Or maybee a six pack
I been losin a lot and thats the fact Jack.
My name is Jeff
Man, Fuck that Ref.
Tired of the Refs
THey are Destroying Jeff
THey saw the Replay and still wrong
Its the same old song
and Dance
Just lost again
Theres always tomorrow
I'll win it back
If I hit that parlay
I'll get back on track.
But the way my luck is going
My debt is growing
Theres one thing I should be knowing
I gotta Chill before there is nothing left
Fuck them refs, they are destroying Jeff.
