just got back from the drunk tank..

do you have any rights in there because i was treated like absolute shit.  made me sit in there until 2pm for no reason.  also no phone call to let my boss know i couldnt make work and i was using someone else's car who needed it.  what are the rules for such an occurrence.  i thought you get a phone call at least

You were in the drunk tank and they treated you like absolute shit.   I'm shocked. 
 
I thought they would have rolled out the red carpet and served you caviar and prime rib well 3 hookers fanned you.

I love it when the guard opens the door and literally throws the brown bag jail lunch at everybody...
I laughed and so did the guard.....he let me out first.

all i wanted was a phone call dickhead and i'm just asking if i should have gotten one.  also wondering how long they are allowed to keep you there.  we live in America where even 'criminals' are treated with some decency.

oh and the word you're looking for is 'while,' not well.

i guess it wasn't a drunk tank, it was just a cell and i was the only one in it.  no lunches here. search, did they serve you caviar and prime rib well 3 hookers fanned you?

Actually I found the whole experience to be rather comical since I was close to one sip over the limit. US Border botrol assholes cuffed me while I was in the act of changing drivers in line.
 
12 hour mandatory hold in San Diego County, it ends up being close to 16 hours. None of the guards give two shits, you have no rights, no phonecall...nothing....lol
I just sat in the tank and asked everybody what and how they got busted....it was pure hilarity the stories.
I did get a banana, a carton of milk and a ham sammich.

sheeeeit you guys got ham sammiches??When I did my time in the "tank", they gave us salami sammiches with goverment cheese on plain white bread and one of those apple juice things with the seal on it...the hilarious part was hearing the black muslims in the tank with me complaining that they don't eat pork and demanding sliced chicken instead

Half the guys in my drunk tank weren't eating or passed out, so I just ate their sammiches too. I was happy an full by the time they pushed me oughta the cell.

Okay so the US Border patrol nabbed you in line while you were chaging drivers in someone elses car, either coming from or headed to Tijuana at 11pm on a work night?

Had a few strong margaritas in Tijuana with my girlfriend at the time. We're heading back to Ca and obviously sitting in line at the border. It's dark and we're about 200 feet from the booth where the Customs douchebag sits. I notice to my left in the darkness, a border patrolmen standing on the side with his drug dog. He motions for me to stop as I was inching forward into a merge lane....so I stop. This point my GF and I agree that a driving change is a wise decision. but we'll wait until we get a little further ahead. Okay so officer douchebag is just standing there in the darkness not even looking at anything in particular so I slooowly inch forward to merge.
He comes running over to my window like Adolph fuckin Eichman and starts yelling at me. I aplogize, he smells the margarita mix, cuffs me, and 2 and a half hours later I'm sitting in San Diego County shithole eating everybody's ham sammiches.
 
I took the Gestapo BP asshole to court and made him sweat under questioning from my lawyer for 30 minutes but it didn't work...fun... but didn't work.

.....and the reason I took dickhead to court is because he was standing on the Mexican side of the border. (there's a very distinct 13 inch speed bump that seperates the two countries).
He lied of course under oath and the the judge ruled in his favor....gee, what a surprise.

Spent a few hours in the Myrtle Beach drunk tank when I lived there in the late 90's. Was at Broadway at the Beach, like an idiot I didn't piss before walking out of the bar. I am standing in the parking lot between cars pissing when a car drives by. I didn't think anything of it some big weightlifting meathead jumps out and claims I tried to piss on his car. I said your crazy dude I would have had to piss like twenty five feet. He gets pissed grabs me and I swear blocked out the moon. Anyways turns out he was an off duty cop, and I spent eight hours in the tank. Breakfast sucked, scrambled eggs, hash browns and oj ( not the muderer the drink).

food is shit in those holding cells, aka 'drunk tanks'.
 
mine had two "pay phones", had to make collect calls, but of
course you couldn't call cell phones collect.  they did give me a phone call before that though, it had to be local and only one call/chance.
 
most of the officers are dicks, but that's because most of the peopole in the cells are dicks.
 
best part was i was across from the chick holding cell (well, about 40'), and we were getting them to lift their shirts up and flash us.  ahhh memories

I've been locked up for the stupidest things, and not once have I not heard the officer tell me me "I don't like this arrest but I've gotta do it." 
It's actually funny talking to other people in there to hear why they are in the slammer. ....ooooh the stories.
The situation is terrible in there but whenever I was arrested in my invincible stages of life I always just made the best out of an impossible dilemma.

haha, it was for 'no reason at all'  i mean its not like i was throwing up or acting ridiculous.  i'm basically sober when i wake up, at least enough to walk home.  wasnt able to show up to work
