Indy got beat by 35 by a disappointing wisky team. Penn st could take out last weeks loss on them and just as easily win by 35+. Too much wood to lay with the events in the past week look elsewhere for value this weekend in college unless you can find a really strong angle, but I do not see it.

I think 35 is a bunch of points after Penn State was just upset last weekend and knows their Title Shot is out the window...have to take Indiana +36 for me

Regardless of anything else, Indiana has given up 55 to Wisky, last week, 45 to Iowa, 55 to Illinois, and 42 to Michigan St and Ball St. Granted, Penn State may be different without a healthy Clark may hurt the team, but Indiana has absolutely no defense and all those teams I mentioned don't have anywhere near the defense that Penn State has. Penn State is at home and there is a reason that Penn is 6-2-1 ATS and Indiana is 1-7-1 ATS. Obvious mismatch. Penn State covers easily. PSU - 55 Ind - 10 GLA

A lot of questions remain here. After the disappointing loss by PENN last week it's hard to say how they will respond since they haven't faced this type of adversity all season.
If I was to make a play it would be IND plus the points. I believe it is most likely that PENN gets up and allows the backdoor cover.

Wonbadappi - the rain?? Even more reason to take the points and run in the mud.
PSU does not need the style points, so no reason to run the score up. Joe Pa has class, once the game is in hand (28-0), he takes the air out. Indiana first half (flat factor) and game

I originally liked this played under, before I did an indepth study of the game and trends. Indiana has given up major, major points this year to teams with not so good of offenses. Who knows how PSU will come out this week. I think there are a few major factors to look at:
1.) The weather. 100% of rain. When a team is getting 35 points in the rain you should take them, but maybe not in this case. When the total is over 50 in the rain you should take the under, but maybe not in this case.
2.) JoPa factor. Did he really push the kids this week, or should I say caoching staff??? This was his really last chance for the gold and they blew it. If he was 20some years old and still had the fire in his belly i would say they would bounce back, but i don't know. He really could be deflated, which would roll to his staff and players.
3.) The actual matchup. Indiana cannot stop anyone, point blank. You just don't know, with the weather how much each team will score. I feel PSU will play old school and run and run and run. I dont feel Indiana will move the ball much against this PSU defense in their house with the weather.
After really looking at this game I stay leave it alone. Be very scared of the total (because of the rain) and a team who just blew the biggest game in years trying to comeback and cover a 35 point spread. Too many other games to play a game with so much going on. If I had to predict a final I would say PSU wins 34-7, but I'm gonna try to make money elsewhere. Just joined the site and love it.
