Oregon
8-1 Penn State (not listed.). All this blah blah blah and very well know as a team that can not win big games and can’t get it done yet still listed in the top 5 odds to win it all.

Here’s some food for thought Spot..and why they go nowhere again.
Coach Franklin is:
4-21 against AP top 10
0-15 against Top 6 opponents
1-18 against Big 10 top 10 squads
And you have the balls to say Penn st is better than Oregon, Ohio St, and all the SEC? This reminds me of your “Colorado buffs make the playoffs” call. A far reach with emotions involved

Oregon man handled and dominated PSU at all 3 phases. The trenches surprised the hell out of me, the QB play.. Coaching everywhere went to the Ducks. This would have been a two TD massacre if in Eugene. Not one play maker at WR. The two NFL prospect RB’s looked slow and unprepared… Lions lame schedule to start the season was apparent immediately on the first drive…popped in the jaw. No adjustments until too late in the second half. Bad news these Lions yet once again. Allers ain’t beating anyone in the playoffs…hell no. Should they make it.

Colorado call:
I made a preseason in the blind and now it’s a bad call. You really should realize the difference between a call in week 6. That’s apples to oranges. if I was to make that call in this moment no way I bet that.
Penn State :
You are adamant about leaving Penn State off this list. We are not congruent and no point to argue. When you get set on something your communication is wild. If you’re going to bring up my “bally” calls I’m not interested in the conversation.
the type of conversation you like to engage in I am not congruent with.
best wishes and continued success you’re having a great season.

Any thoughts on Franklins record just stick to sports as I noticed you skipped the most important part…
”Coach Franklin is:

CU, simple, just say I was wrong, ditto TCU and others you double told me as I was incorrect on etc. 40-22Ats
it’s a sign of wisdom and maturity and the second I’m incorrect I’ll let you know.

You didn’t mention this as the most important part.
I’ll address this as best I can
first of all I respect you and the season you are having. If not the best your in the top 3 ?
as far as CU I was going back and forth on them in the preseason. I was torn between regression and tge transfer they brought in in the O’Line. My concern was losing the linebackers. I have under 6.5 wins so I made a good call on the under, in which I bet. Then a bad prediction on making the playoff in which I asked your take. To me it doesn’t matter what I put on here and any crazy take I gave here is meaningless. Even my weekly posts don’t matter. The only thing that matters is my personal accounting.
anyways as far as Penn State I have a future in them to win it all and I mentioned in a thread last season the same stat struggles that you have documented above. It’s all true.
Tgere is no dispute that their history is poor and yet again they lost in the same situation. Make you look good so far right?
All this info and data and they are playing the weakest opponents so far other than the Oregon loss.
On the flip side of this is they are in the top 5 in odds to win it all. Even Ohio state lost to Michigan last season before the bracket. As long as Penn State makes it in that’s all that matter. To your point do they make it in? The loss to Oregon does bring darkness and the record against top team is dark also.
There is always that one season and tgat one break they need to break all their bad historical misery. I’m not shocked they lost already but I just need them to make it in. Have to beat their remaining opponents so there’s still lots of questions.
My point is you didn’t even list Penn State and you have a wild take on Iowa State being relevant. Strongly disagree but I love wild and aggressive takes. I respect that.
I think you’re wrong about leaving Penn Stare off your list but we’ll see.
I think there is a lot of discovery remaining in the season but as of right now I still believe Penn State has a chance. Part of this chance maybe they have to get fortunate bracket matchups or whatever fortune cones there way.
I get it, I am in them and I’m sticking with them until they win or get kicked.

you don’t need to delve to far into this. You’re a great capper. More than that I appreciate you sharing.

All it takes is one season and a fortune run in the Bracjet to debunk all the past PennSt failures and if they go when they shove the mic in James Franklins face the first question or the first thing out of his mouth would be say yo how about the doubters now.
that’s what happens in champions that have not won a thing. They solve their past failures and address them when given I mic on the championship stage.
Penn state has the most adversity are they good enough. As it appears currently no, but they are still 8-1 odds and still have a chance.

According to the current odds
As one of the “elite” they are an underdog in their category. I like that. It might make a good story.
as a Michigan fan and a friend of mine is a big fan of Penn I don’t hate them but I don’t like them much either.

I keep thinking about past success that I’ve had. There no way to prove it to you or anyone else
who cares though I’m not posting for credits
anyways remember in college hoops a few years back. Virginia got bounced in the first round as the first one seed to fall.
what happened the next season? They solved that adversity
Penn state isn’t completely congruent to that but I flock to teams in adversity.
all the reasons you post proves that they have the most adversity and thinking outside the box has me thinking they could do it.
