Look at his lack of success before and after Brady.
TCU handles UNC for the first of about 7 or 8 losses for the baby powder blue this year.

Heel alum. I’ve seen this movie way too many times. Mack left the cupboard bare.
Hoover is an experienced QB. TCU in another big time season opener, I doubt they lay another egg.
If Belichick does somehow assemble 70 players in a few months and beats TCU I will be amazed. I just don’t see it happening.
Heels football always starts with insane hype only to end in a whimper.

North Carolina +3.5 (Med)
TCU impressed me as a whole…QB play (Just a Jr but plays sharp), returning players (most ret in B12??), coach, etc…very well disciplined team.
Like what I see with NC & who they brought in… QB is proficient dual threat (did well vs LSU…mirrors Kyler Murray…RB Gause is a strong runner (really impressed me!) & they bring back 3 OL starters and back filled with a solid LT (led team w/ b2B top 5 rushing in FBS) and 340 lb RG (solid pass protector)…they also bring in a kicker from Marshall who has range form 40+…QB with legs, solid RB, & good OL = strong results
In terms of defense, DC is Belichik’s son Steve….love crazy nuts on the sidelines… brings in some good transfers from good defensive programs…2 Washington & 1 Boise State transfer…statistically they’ve done well.
Don’t get scared just because of Belichick… NFL coaches with similar pedigrees has had more success than none…Harbaugh, Carroll, Kiffin, most recently Bill O’Brien…

I just don’t think he has the grit and determination to make a college program work. The NFL is a different kind of football. it is more a managerial position but college is more a get your hands dirty type of position. he is over 70 years old and has nothing to prove and does not need the money and those type of people don’t put in the work. Just human nature.
